Posted April 11, 2007 Yeah, i've got a crash that happens within every 10 seconds the program has been opened for. looked similar to the ones that people where posting in this thread. Posted April 11, 2007 Had a second crash a few minutes ago. This time no exceptionfile was generated. I just opened the Help>About Window. I think it's definitely a redrawing thing.

Posted April 11, 2007 I have experienced the same problems with v.1.0.0 Beta and with v.1.0.0 Beta2 nothing changed, Apex crashed at every few minutes. I installed again the old 0.4.0, I have no problems and I am waiting for a stabile version. I apreciate your hard work and I hope the new improved version will be stabile soon. Posted April 11, 2007 Antilles, you don't need to paste the same crash report (even if it crashes with same report) multiple times. It's a waste of space. We're aware of the problem (again).

Posted April 24, 2007 Is this anywhere near resolution, or is the advice still to roll back to the previous version? I just recently had cause to fire up Apex and downloaded the latest version 1.0.0 b2(auto update didn't see new ver) This was yesterday 23/04 I now have the same crash errors as other users here (exception.txt ommited for brevity) So the question is, why is a very unstable version still on the download page since the 10/04? I submit that a version jump from 0.4.0 to 1.0.0 would indicate a feature complete and major bug free version. Any new users to Apex might be very dissapointed, and therefore pass on the belief that it is very unstable. Does this issue only affect upgraded clients, or is it the same for new installs? Posted April 24, 2007 It has been fixed already in beta 3 (internal testing). If you want roll back till the new version is out, its your choice after all. It is called beta version. It includes many new features, which imo is a jump. Also there's no difference between new and upgraded ones...

Posted April 24, 2007 Zlobomir there isn't exactly too many differences between the last build you got and 1.0.0B (but the differences make difference), but I do admit that a mistake was made even though the build was labeled as beta... but what's done is done, and we have to live with it. It's not like there is an undo button we can press...
