OK, i will really enjoy the lab mouse. Can you make them animated *.gifs? I mean like: 1. Developer - The cogwheel - rotating 2. Staff - The pen-writing smth on the notepad, even if the place allows the letters S-T-A-F-F one after the other, pause after the second "F". 3. Tester - The lab mouse - running in some of these hamster-wheels, can't name it even in Bulgarian. 4. Subscriber - The star - may be pulsating or changing color f. ex. from silver to yellow. 5. Management - can't think of anything good, maybe only a necktie buttoned (animation) with a needle. 6. Support - a rotating screwdriver, wrench, or both? Please comment on, my vision is just to make each one strictly individualistic, stylish and original, but please correct my understandings for these where needed. I expect that some of the icons, if approved, will be quite difficult to make and will require more space (height), but even now we have some free space, and we could use some shape like below: P. S. Can't attach for some reason, but basically like the present icons, just with a larger circle or ellipse on the right, to accomodate larger image. P. S. 2: What is the common thing between NextPeer and the icons here? :)

As we have discussed in another topic (sorry, link not handy), corruption can occur always except bit-by-bit comparison ("fc" command in dos prompt), but with tth corruption is very unlikely.

I agree. It will mean that Apex Won't be able to distinguish the files. The only reason to download genuine files is that you take the one with most hits, which is a god warranty. I have never downloaded wrong release of smth due to program's fault.

Well, er, as a member of the Support team, my personal opinion is that "Solved" section will be good to have since it will allow faster navigation through the real, waiting support topics. But a short "solved" in the title will be also helpful, basically the mod can just add "Solved" and then move to the same section. :)

All may have mini Apex logo inside or near the main image... If you like the concept, give colors... Second option: Use the army symbols for, you know, private, sergeant, officer, corporal, general. Sorry if stupid...

Look for exceptioninfo.txt in your Apex DC++ install directory. F. ex. C:\Program Files\Apex DC++\exceptioninfo.txt. Maybe in some sub-folder of Apex\, I do not have such file atm.

It was mentioned before, I assume the folder was also named with some different, "virtual" name for the share. Activating "Old sharing user interface" should help. The option is in Settings>>Appearance, see the screen shot. HTH

Maybe ifmn has solved only one of the reasons, and you have another issue.

Just careful with the criteria, 0.5% of 5GB file and 1.1% of 5MB file should not be treated equally. Something like KB (MB) remaining may be better?

IMHO the DC++ client should do its best, and we don't loose anything from a second check, which can even be turned off. At least I beg you to publish some small utility for TTH check, you have the code...

Hmm, I still support the opinion that we can have a tick box, enabling download from such clients. Since each user can run a secondary, old client, it's just dumb to "force " people spending more disk space. And if there is so much concern about the corrupted files, why (I think BM) removed the "Check again TTH after download is finished"? I just had an issue with that, ran out of space on C: because of incomplete files, had to move the Temp folder and set new path in settings, and now I do not know whether the files are good. I admit to not be the best geek here, so probably I also helped for this s*rew up (mainly by forgetting Temp on C:), but IMHO there is a double standard here. And I will be really, really pissed off, annoyed and irritated (more synonyms wanted) if the 2.36GB file is corrupted. :)

It is just happening when you try to view incomplete filelist. Or at least it was so for me, since I was one of the founders of it.

And more, since later on I discovered how to "generate" my FL (1 162KB), it means that f. ex. 50MB will be used only if 5 users ask simultaneously the 5 different "versions" of your share. And after they Dd it, the space is regained... Or at least we should be able to do it in tat way.
