Opera FTW! :)

Who's to say it hasn't already been fixed? BugMaster, you probably couldn't upload an attachement because your browser still has the old javascript for the site cached? Clear your cache (Ctrl+F5 probably) to fix this problem... (it's due to upgrading forum.)

Bump. I remeber this getting some attention outside of this topic but then nothing happened... :)
-
Lee, you get the Tester group icon I sent you? Give me some feedback on it please...

I could even fit a little running mouse on a wheel into the current small space maybe... but I hate GIF animation, well I dislike GIFs in general to be honest so I doubt i'll do it. Both the cog and the mouse in a wheel thing would only need like two frames to alternate between though...

If there's a mod or something for the forum which will allow people to choose which group icon they have then I wouldn't mind making multiple icons for each group, but personally I'm quite happy with the current ones... Except Staff and Tester icons, for which I will consider your suggestions, thanks. :)

Whoa, already on three now. I like the new layout of the members page, not individual profiles, just where you browse through the different members. :)

No, not yet unfortunatly. We are still primarily focusing on the standard Windows client for the moment. The Linux client also is seeing some activety, maybe the OP one will too... just not yet. We're always willing to accept new developers though. :)

This will (almost certainly) stop the problem from occuring, but will mean that you cannot use magnet links with Apex. (If you don't know what a magnet link is then don't worry.) If you get this error then I would assume your user account on your computer is restricted? Seems like you don;t have permission to edit the registry. :)

I'll give the Support person a purple shirt then, just realised it's off-center anyway... Will find a nice purple for it now. Already got an idea for the Tester group icon... as the Staff icon I'll spend 6 months developign that as it'll be used for me. (But seriously if you can think of something to associate with "Staff" then do tell me... atm the best I can think of is a suitcase or something... not good.) EDIT: Keine, seems that Donator = Subscriber? :)

I think translating guides would be worth the time if we can find people to do it, it's one of those one time only things and wouldn't require to be putting time in forever. However, I think subforums should be added as people who speach these languages are willing to put the time in, I do think subforums would be plentyh for the moment though. As for Keines idea about the splitting of support and bug report supports... personally I just think prefixing/editing the title to reflect whether the issue is resolved or not is good enough. This needs to be discussed with the Support team to get their input.

Will add it to my bookmark toolbar... Will definatly try and be active. Been following the developement of the site since before it was called neXTPeer or before it was in for those file sharing networks. Looks good and deserved to do well, a hell of a lot of time has been put into it. If I can ever help with anything then just ask. You (and Stealth?) better stay active this time.

As the others I don't feel that changing this is a big priority.
-
Would be interested in knowing those plans? We can wait though, now a deadline has kind of been set for 0.4 release we can't expect you to suddenly start adding/working on new features.
-
Surely this happens anyway as TTH is not dependent on filename?
-
Indeed, if you want people to spend their free time helping you then you could at least be nice.
-
If this bug can't be recreated then I don't know. Does Apex freeze up when you do this on different files or is it just one? :S
-
Hehe, if a release comes quickly then maybe, but I wouldn't get too excited just yet, this could take a while.
-
Yep, log would be appreciated.

Quite a nice idea, althoughI would prefer labels to folders if possible, meaning hubs could go into multiple "catergories".
-
Glad to see the Linux side of things is getting some activety, and even better to see it's from a previous(ly retired) developer.
-
The subforum icon seems to have reverted back... fine other than that. I dislike the whole shoutbox (/comment box) thing in user profiles and other weird stuff, remines me too much of MySpace and the likes. Some stuff is definatly improved though. :)

Remote client does not fully support TTH - cannot download
Greg replied to к¢kMåñ's topic in Support
It's not (hopefully) by choice though. On private hubs I'm on, there is still people using PWDC++, you're not doing it in order to to leech. They're doing it because they don't have enough time to even chat on the hub often let alone keep their client up to date. This will probably be a topic for debate for a while to come, but I can accept the current situation. We cannot support old clients forever, if DC++ has put this in, I don't see how people can complain. As to the person who said it isn't up to the programmes' authors as to what they download and it wouldn't be our place to stop them downloading copyrighted content or whatever. Well, I disagree, we make what we feel to be the best decision we can, this client is open source and if you don't agree with our decisions then feel free to download the source and change it as you require. It is up to the author of the programme, and you can "author"/edit it yourself, according to what you want. -
This option? Restart (Apex) to take effect...
