  1. suggestions

    You can enable IP Addresses in Fake Dectector in settings. About the upload/downloads, do you mean the limiter? As that ratio is in force to stop people leeching.
  2. We're currently discussing this via PM. :D
  3. The OP Client won't be ready for some time, and it won't allow you to connect to clients that don't support TTH. Why allow clients that corrupt downloads in your hub? :)
  4. StrongDC++ removed support for non-TTH clients, hence you can't download off them. http://forums.apexdc.net/index.php?showtopic=923
  5. Hi everyone, We've had some initial feedback already, and we know there's an issue with the toolbars using Windows 2k. So we hope to improve those for an update release. We would however, like to take this opportunity to allow you to make suggestions towards our new icons. So fire away. :)
  6. Crash with 3.0 :(

    That is a slighty different crash report to the one above.
  7. http://forums.apexdc.net/index.php?s=&...post&p=8085 :)
  8. Does this happen on all hubs, or just that one?
  9. Released: ApexDC++ 0.3.0 (Preview 3)

    Earlier today (17th November) we announced that the Update Check and Get (external) IP Address for 0.3.0 would be disfunctional for numerous days. This is due to previous versions being notified of this release. After 20th November we expect everybody to have updated to 0.3.0 and therefore these two features will be working again. Sorry for any inconvience, please help notify everybody of 0.3.0. :)
  10. noob needs help

    Click on your download queue toolbar icon Right click on the folder (or files) you wish to stop downloading Press remove Will no longer be in your transfer view window. :)
  11. Screenshot please. If the hub's menu system is far too long, it's not the client's fault but the hub operators.
  12. Updated it with that, thanks. :)
  13. Magnet link

    I fixed it on my computer but then had to reformat, so I lost the work. I will attempt it again. ;)
  14. Toolbar improvements

    Just attached it to your post. What OS are you using?
  15. Which means you're giving the user a part he doesnt have, while he's giving you a part you want. ;)
  16. [Support] TTH

    What error do they get? I believe they must have the latest service pack in order to use the program (not sure).
  17. Released: ApexDC++ 0.3.0 (Preview 3)

    Please look around the forums. Discuss the new interface icons here.. and you could have reported the bugs/crashes in order for us to fix them. :)
  18. Exactly the same way as the steps say above. :blink:
  19. Released: ApexDC++ 0.3.0 (Preview 3)

    Thanks, will update it now. Edit: done
  20. Progressing with ApexDC++

    It's time to take a look at some of the contributions from our community, plugins created to enhance your ApexDC++ experience and guides to help you through any difficulties. Our staff members share an aim to prioritise support, guides and a solid product simultaneously. First, let's take a look at probably the most neglected feature in ApexDC++; the PeerGuardian plugin. It ensures that any IP addresses added to the PeerGuardian plugin's blocklist will be blocked, with an error message. You're able to manage and maintain this blocklist yourself, and in our next release you'll be able to update the blocklist within the client! We're proud of our guides section, and we hope to expand on this in the future. There are some very helpful guides available, and you should search there before asking for support. Here are some popular guides: How to install the PeerGuardian plugin, the best public hubs, how to get in active mode, how to search, translating, compiling and using dynamic IP addresses. In our next version, users with routers will no longer need to worry, since ApexDC++ can retreive your external IP address quickly. If you're bored with your current look and feel, why not check out our customise page? You can find anything from emoticon packs, user list icons, themes, toolbars and translations. It shouldn't be too long before there's another public preview, so remember to keep checking back. Contribute to our community while you're waiting! Update: Two days ago we reached 100,000 downloads on the SourceForge servers, which is a huge achievement. We also hit 2,000 registered members recently - thanks to everyone contributing.
  21. Apex & Windows Vista

    No, Vista is out to businesses and pirates. Which means only a few people will be running ApexDC++ on Vista before January.
  22. Apex & Windows Vista

    We'll focus on Vista when one of the development team is using it... otherwise it'll be hard for us to fix stuff. Another thing, January is the public release, so we'll wait till then to make a decision as to whether we look to support it fully, etc.
  23. My mistake Tex, thought the request was already in ApexDC++. I've re-opened it. :)
  24. Excellent. Thanks for your time. :)
