[Bug][1.0.1] Irregular total size of downloaded/uploaded files
Satan replied to Jesse's topic in 1.0.x
Shouldn't do, if we're running under windows NTFS formats drives in same cluster size. Unless user specified, even then, it shouldn't affect dc reading the drive. -
Try deleting queue.xml and restarting apex.

Exactly, we cant add every command people ask for, add it yourself. Sorry, i'm not being unhelpful, but if we add all the commands, it will make the client 10x the size it needs to be.
-
It is! If your speed is above 100Mb/s
-
Zlo, upgrade that RAM to 4.5Gb in XP, you'll see what we mean :)
-
Off course not BM, it's a syndrome, soon to be recognized by the NHS, called n00bism, definition: 'I DONT UNDERSTAND! I IZ STUPID! AH! I KNOW! BLAME DEVELOPER! PROB SOLVED!' see?
-
It's tricky to sort, it need's hard coded, I feel that the dev's can't do it. No Offence intended, DCPP can't do it either.
-
GAH! Why is DC so difficult :)
-
Don't get me wrong guys, once Vista gets to a stage where it isn't riddled with bugs, by all means, work with it, but at mo, it's buggy! :)
-
I am all for more colors, at present, its not colorful enough.
-
SATA and SCSI drives can transfer at this speed I agree, but since when, has a 100Mb trans rate been considered slow??
-
Why so many commands? This is what the 'How to Compile Apex' topic is for....
-
I still think this level of flexibility would lead to abuse.
-
Yes, we understand that, using a DNS instead of a numeric IP will fix that.
-
We will be launching an OP version in the future, so I hope is built on RSX++
-
Tis same with HDD space in 32 Bit windows, only 16 Tb is supported. Cest la vie.
-
Pfft, I have 20000 posts all on my own on other forums :)
-
The HDD speed DOES matter. For example, an PATA drive will allow a Max write speed of 55Mb/s in every day usage, so how can you say it doesn't matter?
-
DC is not a beginner app to begin with. It's too difficult to set up. Also, Crise does not need to fix anything, it's MS that need's to fix a buggy UAC.
-
This option should be on by default, but if necessary turn it on in settings.
-
This can be done on a user specific basis at present. It cant be done for entire hubs/groups of users tho.
-
Such a long, drawn out, way of doing what most people already do.
-
True, however BM tells it like it is, like me, and that, mon ami, is not a bad thing.
-
TBH I refuse to believe that Apex is doing anything until vista is more stable. it's disk management is awful! I have 7 hdd's in this PC and it doesn't like that AT ALL. So until they sort that out I will not be replacing my HDD and I Dont think you need to attempt to fix a prob which may not exist.
-
Apex has BSOD'ed my PC on occasion, but considering one of my HDD's is currently giving up the ghost I have always assumed it was the culprit, but as this is being reported by other people too, perhaps ApDC is causing the problem....I don't know :S
