At least the zK++ screen says 0.666...

I just noticed that my CPU (Prescott 3.0, EM64) is running on 50C. Next I discovered that Firefox 2.0 is using 75% of it. Thought it is FF itself, but when I changed the page, voilla: -6C, usage 00%. Maybe the snow is too much, I do not know. Is it too slippery for your mice too? :)

And do not rely on "Check Connection" for now. :)
-
Do you mind splitting the topic and moving to Support? Wish I could do it...
-
AFAICS your LAN IP is 192.168.2.1, and you are setting to 192.168.2.2.
-
Yes, but before asking the ISP check the download speed via other applications, so we will know whether it is Apex or the ISP. Will do. Stupid me. :)

OK, what about peaceful constructive discussion? People are people not to be perfect, but to make mistakes and correct each other. I do not pretend to be perfect, do you? And if I was at least trying to be perfect, I would never flame like this. Oh, actually I never did flame like this... P. S. Nice avatar. :) -
You know users, they like such stuff... (OK, I am also user in this aspect ). Space is not an excuse, can be made with button "More cool option" and additional window. :)

Not at all, especially if you forget to ask him. It is not an OS anymore, it's just a LARGE bug report.

Umm, seems that I have misread, however it is a cute screenshot... Have you tried it? Download 292 kbps / 8 = 36.5K, so it is acceptable, since the speed depends not only on you but also on the other peer, i. e. the lower applies. If you have only one source, it can happen. Upload 239 kbps / 8 =~ 30K, and since you said your ISP limit is 32K, you have only some miserable 2K left for browsing or e-mail or anything, apart the service packets which also need some free bandwidth. Regarding the CPU/RAM/PC performance & Apex - it depends on hardware, number of hubs and downloads/uploads, speed. Just open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) and see which application eats up most CPU/RAM. The Idle Process is fine, the bigger-the better. I also would like to suggest leaving this Norton Suit, and replacing it with some lighter (and free) alternatives like AVG Antispyware, Spybot, Peerguardian. F. ex. when the recent "exmodul*" worm hit, I had to manually recover my PC (note, the tiniest issue was that my Turn Off Button gone) and I read in the forum ~ "My *.* antivirus program was completely damaged". I also kindly invite you to TechGeeks Online for more info on such things and for any PC support you may need. It is mainly providing support for Apex DC++ and there are always people capable and willing to help. P. S. What's wrong with dchub:// handling? Cheers, Zlobomir

I would like to have in profile also age, location, photo, single/married/searching relationship. And I am not 100% joking, since some users may like to show more personality, especially if they are not of interest to some P2P organisations which we all know. It may happen that they are either sharing only their stuff, either the local rules allow sharing, or they just chat and do not share, or they share and do not care. I see this as some step to make DC++ even more community oriented, however I realize it will be really hard to implement and that all this may be a burden to hubsoft. But well, hubs will adapt and filter this info, if they do not want it. :)

Just easy, you can easily run out of cash if things get more complex. :)

The only remaining option that I see is to remove any personal data and make a Ghost image or similar to send it to Crise, if he has a free partition and time to play. Funny, I know. :)
-
I suppose you are "chocking" your connection, i. e. you need to limit the upload to somewhere below 32K to allow the service packets to pass. See the screen shot for details. If it is something else, let us know, we will be glad to assist further.

Actually all except these: [+] increased maximum number of segments per file from 10 to 200 [+] no minimal limit for upload speed limit ("download speed limit" = 4 x "upload speed limit" !!!) I guess the "other small changes" statement requires detailed checking... :)

Maybe because of this? -
WOW! I really would like to see some of these in the next official Apex DC++, of course if CSQL (Crise's Software Quality Lab) signed. :)

Please translation from some Italian into English, Russian or Spanish (avoid Spanish ). P. S. As you may have seen, he has some problem with his modem after 1-2 hours of work. But this is just "some English". Not for Features, but don't move for now, so he can find it easy. I expect translation soon... For now 19 Italians on ICQ stay silent... Here is a better translation, thanks to Greg: I have a problem with APEXDC Dopo a little time (max 1 hour or 2) that they are connected, me falls the line, and are forced to resettare the modem(D-Link dsl-300t) otherwise I do not succeed piu' in collegarmihttp://forums.apexdc.net/style_emoticons/default/crying.gif. Someone knows to help me?

"As i said: Its fully updated as of a few weeks ago. " Yes, but balder gets some exceptioninfo.txt, and you can't get any at all. Or just Apex gives exception info up to 0.2.2 on Win 2000? Or exactly on fully updated Win 2000 Apex can't create exception info?
-
Hm, let's clear out what updates are necessary then... /WANTED User with Windows 2000, Apex DC++ 0.3.0 and proper exception files. /WANTED Or there is no better patch than balder's...?
-
IMHO yes... But only after resuming from another client or similar... Apex continuously searches for the same TTH on the hubs you are on.
-
No I meant installing all service packs, as Crise said above it depends on updates whether Win 2000 will report bugs or not... As balder is also a tester, and I am sure he has reported bugs with exceptioninfo.txt on Win 2000.
-
What about updating your OS (which may solve the crash even)?
-
Well then, I would suggest updating at least to SP4 (or to latest possible/needed) and then sending us the report.
