true that's indeed a good count

yes LAN sharing is common, but i don't think it bother too many if it's downloaded from internet hub aswell, as there will still be room for another "LAN segment"... but if you want it so badly you can run too separate instances of the client connecting to different hubs and thus having different gueues

1. i see your point but i think this would only be useful to you not the other 99% of users' 2. something will be added, but not much 3. was alredy in pwdc thus in apexdc as well

Source PeerWeb language file to translate
Crise replied to AddictedToChaos's topic in Feature Requests
that kind of xml is created on every build so yes we have it but translating it wouldn't help much as it probably wouldn't work with apexdc anymore :) -
it's like this: there won't be new pwdc release, but now we wait for RC11 to come out, and when it's out we see if any of the bugs reported here remain in it and fix them if they do (we do this before we mod anything else) and then we start working on ApexDC++ :)
-
i'll take a look :)
-
probably because most likely Lee had to do manual update because of the mods that we have installed...
-
I did see it, and concept is very good, but to be realistic, i don't know how i could make it save that kind of data ... chat logs could be utilized somehow but they are just plain txt files...
-
no we can't fix something that isn't broken, as emulation is planned to prevent that error from popping up ;)
-
Things can change, i don't know what's taking so long but I'll still thing it won't take too long anymore :)
-
Indeed that's why i decided to use the mighty power of splitting topics of IPB. Consider this topic split :)

do you really think that we made so much advancment, as i didn't never thought that we did something that major. Thanks for the positive feedback anways... what would you want to be able to do with usercommands then? ;)
-
1. maybe, don't know yet, but no promises 2. don't happen, the toolbar imaging would be messed up (unless i redo it), besides how do you think these buttons could be created by user, more details? 5. taking a look into it, sooner or later then the remaining reguests: 6. what would this panel have in it exactly, as i think this is not so important? (still a nice idea though) 7. alredy there (usercommands) and the posibilities are quite extensive imo. ps: i'd consider the todo list for 1.0 frozen for now, so don't get disappointed if these don't end up in 1.0. Note the public todo list is not the final one, the final todo listing is far more extensive, as some of you know :)

1. do you mean defining your own /commands, if so i atleast know how to do it for web shortcuts, i'll take a look for other types too though 2. more details? do you mean defining your own shortcuts (ie. ctrl+f) 3. i get your point, but this is still not a top priority (i have quite an exstensive list of stuff to do alredy) 4. "Open own filelist", i don't think other functionality is needed, use win explorer to delete and organize 5. i might have a look on this one though don't see it being useful, details? gotta go now but will comment on rest of your reguests later...
-
thank you for your report but with just exeptioninfo.txt i can't do much... f.ex: what were you doing when this happened? though i'm not going to fix any pwdc bugs anymore, as i'm completly consentrating in ApexDC for now...
-
thanks for clearing that up :)

if you don't have you old queue.xml backup then you'd need to do this: 1. find the exact file you were downloading before (same tth) 2. start dling it from start (wait it to dl few megs) 3. then close pwdc++ 4. find then new temp file (which was created when you started to dl the file again) 5. copy your old 95% temp file over the new temp file 6. you might need to edit queue xml paths etc. but not sure so just go with 1-5 for now and tell me if it works

well to fix this they have to change file system of their existing partition to NTFS or utilize alredy existing NTFS partition/drive... and it just is that it's always better to format and create new primary partition rather than use windows command prompt... if i'd do this i'd do it this way: 1. move files from FAT32 drive/partition (in my case usb drive so solution number 2 is not an option) to another drive 2. format FAT32 partition/drive 3. create new primary NTFS partition to the new unpartitioned space 4. and then move files back to the brand new NTFS partition/drive, and that's it but it's not my fault that only solution to this problem is so hard, same goes with the fact that unfortunetly many HDD's come as FAT32 pre-formatted... besides NTFS is far more superior to FAT32 anyway :)
-
I'd guess your HD's file system is set to FAT32, am i right? as if that's the case only way to fix it would be changing file system to NTFS as FAT32, doesn't like files over 4gb and you have two ways you can do this: 1. Go to Control Panel ->Administrative Tools->Disk Management, somewhere there delete the partition you have on the drive (FAT32 again I guess). And then create a new primary NTFS partition on it. Format it and that should solve your problem. 2. In a command prompt 'convert volumename /FS:NTFS' (Note: This method should never be used for USB HDD's) I'd always use the first option though, even if it involves a lot more work than second option. Note: if you alredy have another partition with NFTS set as file system you could just move your pwdc's complete & incomplete files directories over to that partition, and manually fix paths in queue.xml and in settings of pwdc++.

i believe the point was that if it had global option it'd be too fake or something, but this question should be asked from BM as SDC decided to make it this way. (they had global option in some older versions, i think)
-
about 1. Lee had mistake it isn't in but it doesn't need to be as when hub is not in favs emulation is automatically used 2. won't happen, as that be too much spam :)
-
currently there is no way that this can be done properly. (read: many users exspecially op's use old versions/mods of DC++ so the user identification fix in latest release of DC++ won't have much impact)
-
you should use emulation... steps to do this (reguires hub to be in favourites) : * Right-click on the hub emulation needs to be set to and choose "Properties" * Now just tick the box "Emulate DC++ in this hub"
-
do you have geoip in your pwdc settings directory...
-
acording to my knowledge this moglo is some kind of cheater/faker client, besides this behaviour would disrespect the DC spirit (searching for hubs that you are not connected to)
