These features will be looked at, and attempted to be coded into one of the 1.0 beta versions: Update IP on startupUpdate IP every x minutesUpdate check converted to News type system (informs user of new version and community updateds)Check Settings (with improvements)Auto detect IPMultiple away messagesExtra connection speed tags in General settings (for old DC++ way)Winamp toolbar (no winamp window)Keyboard shortcuts to menu optionsWindows > Disconnect Filelists, Offline, etcFavourite Hubs sortingPassword protectionEnhanced tab handling (FulDC)First time setup guideHave /example main chat commands (extensive /stats, /google, /apexdc, etc)Permanent main chat and PM ignore listsNerdcore, PeerWeb and other emoticon packsWinamp spam in dimmed colour (so it doesnt stand out)Disable sound in PM onlyEnhanced /clear commands (including a clear chat button)Super seeding (requires re-write)More to be addedThese features above do not need to be requested again. We're already going to take a look at them for 1.0. We plan to re-arrange the settings page to be more organised, improve the language so beginners understand certain settings, with a possibility of having a basic and advanced view. Does it mean that you can set a password for certain folders, so if you user want to download stuff from that folder, he needs to enter the password first? This would be cool e-mo Hi e-mo, this feature means you can password protect the application in the system tray. So without that password, somebody cannot close or open it. Posted June 3, 2006 Because everything pails in comparison to the wonder that will be ApexDC++? :blushing: The vast majority of features that Crise intends to implement into the client are ones suggested by the users, Bearshare is most likely a less community based client so the users don't always get what they want I guess.
