in what????

In the description of the user...

this is shown "{x/y}"

x being the number of slots available

y being the total numbers of slots set

The only disadvantage is that slot info is quite vital, maybe it deserves, if not a separate column, a more leading place in user description (read: Tag!)? F. ex., slots, then hubs as an ending.

btw Lee, my PW 0.41 shows only total number of slots in userlist (read: Tag!), maybe I've checked some wrong box in Settings... :blushing:

in the column "description" everybody is free to write what they want.....in column "slots" there are only the total slots and not x/y

My mistake. Replace "Description" with "Tag" (it's 01:07 o'clock here). :blushing:

Hi.

Here is a tag from a user in a hub I'm in

<++ V:0.306,M:P,H:0/1/1,S:4>

it only shows the amount of slots that person has, not the amount he has free.

The only time you see how many slots a user has free, is when using "search"

Please correct me, if I'm wrong.

What about other tags? You need to enable the feature by going to PeerWeb DC++ settings area and enabling "show extra information in description" (I know it's mislabed).

The problem with the total number of slots being shown in the description is this:

1) As stated you can't see the free slots.

2) You can't arrange by the about of (free?) slots.

peerweb/setting/show extra information in description is enabled.

result when copying someones tag

<++ V:0.674,M:P,H:0/1/0,S:3>

so no difference.

...as I said. :D

The only thing that this checkbox changes in mine PWDC++ is the up/down in Description (if given, I do not know why you can't delete the once set values).

So, the option is not too mislabelled. :)

But we don't want it in the tag. It'll make it too long.

so are you saying, that if emulation of dc++ is disabled, you should be able to see the amount of

free slots a user has in "description"

Specifically what "description" are you referring to.

But isn't it up to the user himself what goes in there, and it can be different for each hub you are in.

you can write in "sharing old movies" or whatever

That's because it only shows on pwdc users if they have it enabled.

It's impossible, their client does not send the amount of upload slots available to the hub, which is why it only displays on people who do this.

theinvoker: this is why your feature request can't be done too..

However. Crise, we should put the number of slots available in the tag really.
