Hello, My old Trendnet TW100-S4W1CA was constantly refusing to do port forwarding, and I burned it trusting the wire mark, while connecting it to a PC PSU. So I will be thankful if you could recommend me a new router. Here are some requirements, feel free to discuss on them tho :whistling: : 1. Basically all as TW100-S4W1CA, but +: Real firewall instead of NAT, NAPT, multiple DMZ hosts, speed limiting per LAN port (ideally up/down separately and per time period), QoS. 2. Ability to maintain many open connectins (I've seen comparison charts about this I hope you get what I mean). 3. Gigabit LAN ports (not really necessary, if price is reasonable I can add a Gb switch). 4. Wi-Fi support is welcome. 5. Anything useful you can think of. Environment: Running hubs, downloading with all kinds of apps, gaming, sharing I-net between 4 PCs.

Maybe an ugly workaround could be OS detection and silently switching to compatibility mode? Or just install with Win 7 compatibility? Do we support XP?

However deleting the Settings folder will delete the favorite hub addresses and passwords as well.

And what is the result from www.canyouseeme.org? Just type the port/s you are using into the box, press "Check" or similar, and you should get a green OK.

Nobody will help you if you refuse to help yourself. As Lee said, test RANDOM numbers. And there are recommended figures in the guides. It is not that we are providing a hostile support or some personal attitude, you will just end up with no answer in any support forum. Try to read before asking and you will save time mainly to you. This is not what Lee asked, check your Connection settings in Settings! You can be connected to the hub with mis-configured options. There are fine guides, check the section, link in my signature.

I can't call myself a programmer, but how can it be a problem if done with smth like: "if size=0 hidden=1" or alike. Pls post the respective code part, so we could eventually make some brainstorming. :)

That's why I (we?) recommend disabling UAC, since UAC is quite easier to be tricked by malware rather than by a legitimate application. Or simply install Apex in say C:\ApexDC, where UAC does not have control.

Still, he should be able to see in Apex settings all that he shares. So this should be fixed, if a bug. :)

Hello, This is really strange, I can't reproduce fully the situation right now since my humble server has just one drive, and it is Linux, but I see all the shared directories on it (three). Please provide more details about both computers, especially OS-es, firewalls, etc...

Пропуснал съм това за Виста. Не трябва да се стои късно пред ПЦ. Проблемът е или е бил в UAC на Вистата! Той не позволява достъп за запис в Program Files на Hashindex и Hashdata файловете. Има две решения: 1. Спира се UAC, аз и много, да не кажа почти всички други хора, го намираме за безполезен. С Гугъл ще разберете как. 2. Мести се Апекс в папка, например C:\ApexDC. UAC следи само системните.

Just a small addition, check and change (if necessary) your download directories on the new PC. And finish your current downloads first, otherwise you have to edit manually Queue.xml.

You probably need to be registered to use the main chat or private messages. Try to send a private message to an operator, +regme YOURPASS or +report Please register me in main chat. Try also ! instead of +. Unfortunately, it is possible that the commands are treated as text too, so no output again. Read also the login lessage for info about how to register, or check the e-mail column in Userlist to get the contact details of some operator.
