Please look at http://forums.apexdc.net/index.php?showtopic=462 and http://forums.apexdc.net/index.php?showtopic=4 and basically try to look at before asking for. Just a friendly note, no hard feelings. ;)

[Bug], [0.2.2], download users queue mismatch

May be because the other 360 don't have free slots at the moment... -
Currently the damage is not at your end of the wire. Hub is offline.

amp or smo from Russia, please transmit the above via Socrat and paste back. :)

Why not use native language in your app: Menus/texts are shortest (I believe from my experience with BG, RU, ES) in English. Why RU is not common: nor that Russia is a small country, you need to get rid of the KGB guys at last (and so we could be able to do the same). --OFF One of my funny side-notes again, sorry for it : RU-BG history is like a comics: 1. You freed us from the Turks. 2. The war weakened your army. 3. The communists used this and got the power in Russia. 4. You respectively infected us with communism. --OFF

So happy joining in EU. At least Russia is saved from this evil. About the pr0n: I was just surprised why you object when smo downloads smth which you think for being good enough to be included in your share. Edit: Can you PM me the title? My I-net is a little faster... :)

Your local, LAN hub? About the Reconnect all/disconnected feature - why not also an auto-trigger in settings "Reconnect to all/disconnected on each IP change"?
-
Not bad, assuming that all users will use the feature wisely. But as we all perfectly know, this is not the case. And Netlimiter/similar will be still needed because it provides more functionality for all your network apps, rather than just "sc*ew your buddy" function. With your proposal I do not know whether Apex will be banned from most hubs...

1. I have not specified whether the content was illegal to download or not. 2. Let's assume for a moment it was illegal. Can you imagine from your purple world that there are places on the Earth where you CAN'T get some things, at least without a credit card, which I dare to say is maybe even 70 % of the population of Bulgaria? Sorry if being too sharp, it's just in order to be clear enough. :)

--OFF And particularly on the request to bring back the TTH check after Dd. OFF-- :)

1. In the way you describe, I got a precious movie before time, took me several months, since I can't figure it out exactly (OK, it was in e-Mule, but still!). 2. What against pr0n you have? Or let me guess, you are a saint and have no idea how this nasty content was in your share? 3. This is a leecher feature. You could ban anyone >> hub owners and OPs will ban Apex. And all of us will not be able to download even with 0-600kB. Note: For users like you, if I was a hub owner/OP, I would just simulate a Dd < 1kB while not showing status, and if you ban my IP, you can guess what will happen. :)

Maybe he needs to be Passive in the other hubs, but don't see why... And to do it,he must have all the other hubs in favs as well.
-
But he speaks for difference in the nos. between Apex/SDC and other clients... You mean other clients do not detect hidden users? He said this is not the case, and if hidden are included, I would suggest show them in userlist or showing them as X+Y.

What were you doing during the crashes? Please let us know your OS.

--OFF Sorry if this is slightly "Adult Only". Please read it when you reach 18+/21+ years according to your country regulations. Yes, I was semi facetious, but also semi-serious. Anyway, the first formula in Birthday Attack article cause a major memory leakage in my brain. My point was that, f. ex. in UK, 30% of the teenagers... guess again (results of a survey). Further it means that there is spontaneous attraction, which is more likely to appear during the warmer part of the year (less clothes, more going out, no school, etc.). So I will be really interested if smo can dig out the interval with most birthday coincidences. If this period is X:Y, I'm pretty sure that X:Y - 9 months ~ May:August --OFF

Still, who? Or he can not be seen in Userlist?

"Use Small Send Buffer (enable if uploads slow downloads a lot)"
Zlobomir replied to Goralf's topic in Feature Requests
I guess it is in the feature list, which is quite long... But not sure whether in our list or BM one's. -
Maybe only by some bits for verifying of each segment...

But IMHO the Windows translation in Bulgarian is horrible (and partial, which drives me nuts more!), or at least it is so with the "popular" Windows. So many peeps use English, and why this should prevent them from having the option of Bulgarian socket messages? I personally prefer all in English, but still...

Just tried to say that IMHO manual port setting is safer. Edit: Yes, interesting article. I know the ports nos., but how many users use Apex? I bet that one day we will spend a whole lotta time on some support request concerning active mode, just because this is so unlikely. Cant find the link but with 2000+ users, each with 4-5+ apps taking random ports, see the picture. --OFF About birthdays: There is not any paradox. Your birthday = ~ 9 months from... you guess. :w00t: And as we put things so, the sexual activity is not evenly distributed through the year, so just the base is not 365 days --OFF :D

Maybe SDC++/Apex just do not count you? It would be logical, since when you enter a room, you see X people inside, not X + you. Assuming there are no "mirrors" around. Can you tell us which one is missing in Apex, but present in other clients? If too private, you may PM the Dev team.
-
Still, it will be cool to have the files highlighted or marked in some way. It could save some clicking till you guess the reason they do not Dd.
-
Just a question, if the user has 2+ apps which randomly select ports, and the apps are allowed as files in the firewall, is there a big chance for them to get one and the same random port?
-
IMHO it should remove these marks from the text written to you, not to remove them from the text you type, since you have full control over your KB layout.
