I am not running Vista still, but imo this is related to problems with your i-net connection, or problems with the i-net connection of the host (remote PC with the hub). If it is happening with many hubs at a time, it is probably you.

Well, I turn off my PC in order to sleep in silence. I care for my HDDs and use several fans, while saving from water cooling. The shutdown can be accomplished with third-party soft anyway, like the speed limit.

Indeed, since we have not downloaded more than once intentionally, everything is ok. Other programs on SF also have repetitive downloads.

The only way I can think of is some IP scanner on most popular (or all, if you're desperate) hub ports like 411, 23, 1411. Angry IP Scanner should do the work. I just tested in my mini-LAN.

Hi, Well, apart from suggesting some examination of your system and thus reducing the crashes, maybe it is good to make an annoying manual back-up of the Queue.xml, as well as with Favorites.xml. There is even an auto-script for this, search around...

I guess it depends on some registry key, so WMP is just the GUI to edit it...
