I am thinking of a way to create some dependency b/w Apex and System Idle process, i. e. when System Idle Process has high values, "allow" Apex to use the available resources (mainly CPU). If Sys Idle Process drops to a predefined by user point, due to a loaded game for example, let Apex use only a predefined from the user CPU percentage. Or even "Decrease CPU usage with X% when CPU Idle Process decreases with 1 (for more than X seconds)". I hope the above is understandable, Google was claiming such thing with their multi-platform browser science bar, if you remember. I am looking mainly to some way to increase the number of downloaded file lists for check, when no (other) resource-hungry appy is running.

OK, ended up with Netgear WGR614EE, lets hope I'll manage to make Apex work soon... rtfm, www.portforwarding.com , I know :)

Maybe the hub is running on port 23 or 110? Not very likely tho.

Is there an exceptioninfo.txt in ApexDC++\Settings? Were you doing anything special when client crashed?

//Some modems/routers share one box, better let us know manufacturer and model.

It has been playing wicked, nasty tricks to me.

Apex cannot update IP "on the fly". It does it only on startup and it is intended to be used when your IP changes only during reconnect (which most often is a reboot, hence restart of Apex).
-
And I strongly suggest you to get some real firewall and disable the XP one.

Yes, so we do not need to worry about hub load. With this option, search will be submitted immediately, and done acc. to the interval of the hub.

1 Client that has Different Shares in Different Hubs
Zlobomir replied to JoeBuhdee's topic in Feature Requests
Not exactly, more like the reverse "share only files with these extensions". So it won't be needed to write a book to skip for each hub. -
If smo could tell me the need of this user\pass, for this specific open release, I will be grateful. :)
-
Load on hub is not the same, because you waste 15 mins in typing and pressing search on the frames, one by one. However I do not see why this can't be implemented. Exactly for this hubs have minimum search interval, and it will be great on local hubs, where bandwidth is enough.

1 Client that has Different Shares in Different Hubs

Erm, put in Fav Hubs a file extension filter for each hub? So no abuse. These "secondary" FLs could be probably created even dynamically on connect, so disk space will be saved. -

This was discussed many times before, and the excuse was missing ADCsupport and user identification. What's about now? -
I am even pissed off because of this too, and had a PM with Crise about it. There is nothing easier than putting a submenu via the User commands itself (User Commands in the beginning of all). But there is no way of removing it now.

Hi and welcome. If not present somewhere in this topic, probably no Sweden is available.

Any feedback from Trendnet? 3Com? Right, mine was Trendnet, but still, it was the cheapest model back then. I know this is running out of scope, but why not turn the topic into a small comparison guide for people in my situation.

Thanks, Mikey pls edit once more to add model, for some reason I cannot open Linksys page.

Is there an exceptioninfo.txt in Settings folder, with the respective timestamp inside? -
Just use QoS, either hardware or software based.

And let's not forget that b2-b3 were "quick attempts to fix", so this is simply like B3 for me. :)
