  1. Passive search results limited

A protocol is a set of rules, HTTP and BitTorrent are also protocols. The rules for the backend of all DC clients specify the imposed limits.
  2. 1 million downloads achieved

The first million downloads, definitely an achievement, hopefully they'll be many more to come :crying:
  3. You would notice that when you partition to drive though, surely?
  4. Passive search results limited

Doesn't sound like it could be caused by anything in the client. Much more likely it's a limitation on the hub you're searching on. It's a bit weird that is only happens in ApexDC++ though. Have you tried other hubs?
  5. PG plugin

    Indeed, topic closed.
  6. webserver problems

Zlobomir is probably right, I doubt it's a bug, much more likely it's just a limitation, one which will hopefully be corrected in future. :)
  7. ADC 1.0 Released

Yeah, we know there are alternatives, but Ynhub is probably just used for a lot of the hubs Zlobomir and Satan visit. It is generally quite easy to use and setup which seems to appeal to people. Hopefully it won't take long for the major hubsofts to update.
  8. Problems with downloading

Topic moved. As Zlobomir said, refer to the guide he linked to and feel free to ask more questions.
  9. how to turn off queue "Auto Priority" function?

Right click on a (selection of) folder/files(s) and within the priority menu select something other than auto. Disabling that option will probably only affect files you add to your queue after disabling it?
  10. speed limits per user

cFosSpeed works fine on Vista for me. ;)
  11. larger segments

Indeed, significant discussion on it can be found here: http://forums.apexdc.net/index.php?showtopic=591 As for segments size though, I don't tend to have any problems with it, although I guess it'd be frustrating on LAN or whatever.
  12. Same, although admittedly I have a fairly quiet case and use SpeedFan to turn down the speed of one of my loud fans.
  13. no connection

Please take a look at this guide: http://forums.apexdc.net/index.php?showtopic=462 Feel free to ask for further instruction either here or there, if needed. :P
  14. Notepads

I tend to just use OneNote now, but even so, multiple Notepads would still be useful to some people I think. If there's not a lot of interest though then it's probably not worth implementing.
  15. Show us your desktop

Obviously that's not the resolution of my desktop PC, which I will post some other time. This is my laptop, running a customized version of Xandros Linux.
  16. Notepads

I'd like the option to have multiple notepads, not sure how you'd want the GUI for it to be, but I guess it wouldn't be too hard to implement?
  17. Tab Groups

Hopefully it'll be seriously considered, but I doubt we'll be seeing it in the client any time soon at least.
  18. Linux Project Development

Until someone is willing to try and help, yes.
  19. Heh, where's the party going to be held? ;)
  20. Stunning new Chat Program

No Opera support. Seems like a good idea though, but I don't say much for how they'd implemented it. If it takes up lots of space on the page and people can pretend to look like spacemen, I'm a little put-off.

  22. Just reached 900000 now, just over 2 months for 200000 downloads means we're currently on target to get a million before the end of the year.
  23. Game: Guess the movie

I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry.
