But the user may not know of the /stats command.
-
i planned on keeping the per session upload and download stats and overall upload and download stats in about box and just remove the uptime...A new window for stats should be created...basically like the about box but full of stats.
-
it's alredy in a chat command (/stats and /ut, in pwdc as well)I know, I meant just removing it from the about box and only having it in chat commands. But I'd like to keep stats in the aboutbox too.
-
(though i was going to remove the uptime from about box completly....)Were you planning on moving it to a chat command?
-
Pleace Add "Total download Time" to About menu !! ,not only in corent sessions.Possible, Crise?
-
Hmm... alright. There's quite a few things there which would be useful t implement but I'm not sure how possible they actually are.The seconds clearing is going to require more memory, since the program will have to store pretty consistenty how many seconds has gone by.. It's not in MSN or any chat program, so why a DC++ mod?
-
I think you don't understand matter of Kademlia. It has nothing to with hubs, so you can't disable it for certain hubs.I don't understand Kadmelia code wise, but your post is the reason why it's not implemented.

Updated announcement regarding the recent showings of logo concepts for ApexDC++ in the Beta/Donator forum. Users should see the popular logo(s) soon! ;)
-
If revconnect revised their code to disable downloading/uploading of private hub users then we'd consider this. ;)

No comments from Lee or Crise, can one of you state your opinion and possibly of this being a feature which could be implemented?- /clear and /c commands will be present
- you can enable 'clear chat' button in the peerweb dc++ settings (it should be for main chat too)
- a list of clear chat commands in the windows menu would be decent, not sure how easy this would be
- /clear and /c commands will be present
-
Sort of. They are tree like settings already - "Advanced", etc... but you mean within the actual list of settings? Show me a GFX mockup of how you'd like it.. I aint sure how many settings you could group up. Or, wait until you see RC11's new settings layout.

I'd be happy to donate, not just to get an early release version, but willing to support the development of a good dc client, as dc++ just doesn't cut it for me.So, why not offer another way. I would send cash if that helps, as no way will I use Paypal.
I eagerly await your reply..
Hi and welcome to the forums.
If you are still interested in supporting Apex via a donation, you can PM me and I'll give you an address you can send it to.
Regards,
Lee

There are still private hubs. More public hubs will appear even if they go down... As long as the software is there and people are there to run it, DC wont die.
-
What are you asking?
The client must think you are share checked and therefore displaying your colour different to other ops. Or the other way around.
-
what tweaks do you mean? as far as i'm aware emulation in pwdc was never modified (well to be exact it was modified once but later the changes were undone)I stand corrected then.
-
It'll be in, with the tweaks seen in PeerWeb DC++.

This crash obviously isn't the same problem as the above post. There's little we can do now, since we're basing ApexDC++ on a completely new version of StrongDC++, pretty much eliminating any crashes/bugs found in PeerWeb DC++. :)

I already told you about the fulDC feature (colors instead of bold,in tab) but it would be also nice a menu like in mcDC so i can choose if i want bold only hubs or only PMs (and other things)But please don't resize the tabs.....both LDC and mcDC have bigger tabs
I think if we're already looking into improving the tabs in ApexDC++, I don't see why we cannot consider this too. :)

(user-adjustable depending on the PC) for the speed/number of segments? All you need to do is reduce the number of downloads that can run.. :)

StrongDC++ RC11 has improved performance is this area..

Invision Power Services recently published a new update of their popular board software that these forums run on. Therefore, today, I upgraded the forums to 2.1.5. This version fixes 50 bugs, meaning the forum's stability should be improved. You can find out what changes and fixes occurred by visiting their announcement. An another forum related note; I uploaded some new emoticons for members to use on the forums.
Work continues on ApexDC++, with great input from our members. BeertjeWit submitted a request, displaying flags not only in the transfer view, but to improve it further by displaying them on the user list. This is definitely something we'll consider implementing. Another popular request is the option to pause files that appear in the transfer view instead of going to download queue > set priority. The ratio command will be available in the client due to the feature being used regulary with PeerWeb DC++. Check out the full list of features expected for 1.0 (please note the list may increase over time - it's not finalised).
Graphical concepts have come a long nicely. Inkorp has been working hard producing logo concepts for ApexDC++ and we'll reveal them - along with splash screens - soon! :w00t:
Update: Image concepts have been been posted in the Beta/Donator area. Once selections have been made, a public show-off will be posted. :)

This is being looked into.

Hi e-mo, this feature means you can password protect the application in the system tray. So without that password, somebody cannot close or open it. If you want to see the feature you suggested above, feel free to post it in this forum as a seperate topic. :D
