Please use the OP topic already created: http://forums.apexdc.net/index.php?showtopic=216

A feature similar to this is planned. Basically downloading the setup file and upgrading the client within the update check, rather than going to a site.
-
The development page is no longer kept up-to-date (i.e. it's closed). The feature to add/remove/edit your own web shortcuts will be in preview 3. :)
-
If there's anything decent you've added, and would suit ApexDC++, please submit it to us. :)
-
You can set it to 10kB/s when connected to one hub (assuming slot ratio is on) and have one slot open.
-
I like this idea. :)

I thought having a topic on discussing films would be decent. So here it is.. Just state what film you've recently watched, with any additional information such as your rating out of 10, and a link to imdb. Rambo: First Blood (1982) Great classic. I enjoyed the beginning of the film with Sylvester Stallone walking down a hill trying to find his friend who he served in the war with. (IMDB)

Please remember to digg our article so we receive some traffic. :)

You can't expect them all to be done in one new preview. Just wait, and monitor the releases until all the features you want are available.

People will think the program is broken, since it's lagging.
-
Have you requested them?
-
Heh, no problem Azetab.
-
It works fine for me in games, are you receiving popups or something?
-
What do you mean by protect users?
-
Crise forgot to update the build id for the update check to compare. Both 0.2.0 and 0.2.1 have the same build id, so the program doesn't realise that 0.2.1 is newer.

It's a super seeding crash, we're looking into it. http://forums.apexdc.net/index.php?showtopic=535 Use that thread.
-
More like our mistake, since you okay'ed it.
-
Fixed in SDC++ cvs.. :)
-
Connectable as in his whole in/out connection... you maybe able to get his filelist, but he won't be able to get yours.
-
Yes, firewalled - can be set in active or passive, if the user isn't connectable he is shown in red.
-
Yes, something because the developer is on holiday I believe, or is busy doing something. He's been working on it though, and you should know it's not a direct port of the client. Since that will be a project in itself. It's currently based off the Linux DC++ cvs, and mattdev has improved it, fixing bugs and adding some stuff. Eventually we hope to get it to a standard that our regular client is at. :)
-
Following on from Crise, just place the queue.xml in your new program files settings folder. Make sure ApexDC++ is closed before loading up pwdc's queue.xml.
-
He just explained. You get it when installing over an existing copy (e.g. pwdc, or any older client).

It doesn't lose the connection after finishing the chunk. You're still connected to the user, and continue downloading the next chunk. It's not always 1MB either.
