my guess is that it had a problem creating the magnet for a file. probably a temp file or something dont know. can you provide more information on this so we can further help you?

I get this too when I start ApexDC++. I don't have any ideea what causes it.

Try un-checking/re-checking the option "Install Magnet URI handler on startup" at Advanced Settings dialog.

Try un-checking/re-checking the option "Install Magnet URI handler on startup" at Advanced Settings dialog.

This will (almost certainly) stop the problem from occuring, but will mean that you cannot use magnet links with Apex. (If you don't know what a magnet link is then don't worry.) If you get this error then I would assume your user account on your computer is restricted? Seems like you don;t have permission to edit the registry. :)
