I don't see any benefit in it. Why can't you just disable segmented downloading in the settings?

I remember replying to this exact post earlier.. wierd.

You can disable the segmented download technique, heres now:

Settings > Downloads > Queue > Enable multi-source > set it to "Disabled"

Setting it to disabled will enable the legacy dc++ download technique.
