I've been seeing this quite a bit since i installed Apex 0.4.0 (preview 4) This is the first time i've used Apex and i'm switching from SDC++

the whole message is "An operation on a socket could not be performed because the system lacked sufficient buffer space or because a queue was full"

Wow thats a long one.....

Anybody know what this means or is there a way to stop it?

I did use the search option in the forum but nothing came up. Surely i cant be the only one that's had this!!!

I think you have too much installed protocols or a network adapters on your system or your making too many connections.Try removing some unused protocols or a network adapters or maybe this will help :

To do this go to Start, Run and type regedit. In the left pane navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters once

there, you must create the entry TcpNumConnections. To do this, right click in

the right pane and choose new from the menu and select DWORD Value. Give it the

name TcpNumConnections. Then right click it and select modify and enter a value

of 800. Then restart your computer.

Here are some google links (sorry for the haxor layout)

only solution for now, to reduce the number of started p2p programs at the same time, which is lame :(

Have you changed defaults in Simultaneous downloads, Buffer sizes, or similar?

Yes, only changed maximum simultaneous downloads to 15, which should be fine for 512Kbs. In fact, it was was just fine until couple of weeks ago.... then i was changing the version of java and azureus and it seems to me that all of this started then. Could be the problem with azureus settings. I will try to lower the number of simultaneous downloads for it and also for ApexDC++ and will let you know what happened.

Thanks :)

OK, I think I got it !!!! I just reduced socket read and write buffer sizes and write buffer size to half of default value and it worked for a whole day without any errors :)

The trick also worked with StrongDC++....

Hope this will help someone!
