what exactly is LUA i saw it in zion blue but ive no clue what it is and only that it doesnt work could someone pls explain ??

AFAIK this is a (scripting) programming language, used for making additional commands in DC++.

yes but what possible use would it have as a function within a client while the client is in use as it is in zion blue ??

If the client has lua support, like BCDC++ or DCDM++, you can run external scripts that will add more functionality to them...

You can make simple tings with lua like saying "Hello" in all hubs when you enter or kick/ban irregular users.
