Runtime error! R6002

I get it immediately when I start Apex and WMP classic, possibly other appz too. The strange thing is that zK++, which I have installed for testing, starts OK.

Please help me, I guess a malware has s*rewed some *.dll/s, but do not have any clue which one/s exactly.

When i last ran ApexDC 0.4.0.x builds with media player classic (assuming that's what you mean, as to my knowledge ther is no such thing as WMP classic) i didn't encounter this... but will try again.

I confirm, it is MPC. And there is no connection between errors, i. e. MPC gives the same error as Apex, when they are launched independently. sfs /scannow does not help. Sorry for not being specific.

However WMP does start. If the list is short, please give me all the (old-school?) *.dlls on which Apex and MPC rely on.

Edit2: MANY (all) *.exes on PC had our old friend "Parite.B". Cleaned out, but problem persists. HEEEELP? Anyone? :crying: :crying: :crying:
