Why can't you just disable that stupid UAC ? There was no UAC in Win3.11, Win95, Win98, WinME, Win2000 or WinXP and there was no problems, so why should there be a problem in Vista? Maybe because Vista is so dangerous and unsecure OS that it needs UAC? maybe, I have UAC disabled and no problem.If you still refuse to disable UAC, then stop asking question to solve your problem.

horizontal chat, what, screenshot ?Um, chat showed on the top, not on the left (actually on the right now in 1.0.1). I see there is maybe some new code behind this, but it is worse for me. If still needed, will make a ss.

Replace "falldown menu (column)" with "falldown menu (column)"

Maybe 1.0.1 already does, but was a bit pissed off by the lack of "horizontal chat/userlist" to test more, and copied the files from 1.0.0B5... About the removing of "horizontal chat/userlist", I guess it was done by BM, if not even by DC++ devs. I do not blame you, but would like it baaaaack. :-(

Well, in this case it helps to determine the bug by tracking the changes made in the code b/w versions.

lol ok. Point is disabling UAC aint good for your computer so is the last option!Point is, with all my respect, that you can't explain it better than "not good for your computer". Thinking in this way, Windows is not good for ANY computer, especially Vista. But I am on Windows by force of habit, will not use Vista any time soon tho.
i. e. Do not believe/use all the sh*t which has been bugged build in by MS. Many people here have had your problem, disabled UAC, nothing bad happened, they are still happy. :)

This is smth for which I suspect Windows Firewall being guilty. It often unblocks apps long time after user has made the settings (maybe after restarting Windows).

On first shot, your sources might be slow. Have you tested in a LAN hub, to start with?

Thanks for the input, I hope that Lee soon will have enough time to look at the issues you have found. As for the BG forum id, afaicr it was created first of all the others, if this could explain its id. If you like to help with the BG section with translating manuals, helping users, etc., feel free to do so according to your free time and skills. :)
