But this move can be optionally done by Apex ?on exit?, and even with setting about how many days ago to keep it. :)

...which lets me ask, why there is not an option in hubware like "Hie FL of the following profiles" or "Only show FL of these profiles"

/off I know what my nick means, it is 1. A slight derivate of the BG male names ending in -mir in Bulgarian. Translation: HatingPeace or PeaceInHate, or smth like it. 2. A slight derivate of RU male names ending in -mir, like Vladimir. Translation in this case as above + RU mir = EN world = SR svet. /off Oh, as for the topic, you do not need to hassle so much to find the error. Apex nor PWDC does not write in the registry, so just start "the other" exe, and allow the app in the firewall to check...

Hello, Since VlaJe speaks English, I allow myself to use it in here, trying to help... feel free to translate/delete this later on. http://www.memtest86.com/ Floppy/CD boot recommended, rather than live test on Windows. And here is smth for GoldMemory: http://www.goldmemory.cz/

Well, smth definitely went generally wrong... Please provide exceptioninfo.txt from say C:\Program Files\ApexDC++\Settings And try the following: 1. Create folder C:\Program Files\Apex and C:\Program Files\Settings 2. Copy ApexDC++.exe and ApexDC++.pdp to C:\Program Files\Apex\ 3. Start C:\Program Files\Apex\ApexDC++.exe and use for a while. 4. If 3. is ok, add in C:\Program Files\Apex\Settings\ DCPlusPlus.xml, Favorites.xml, Queue.xml, trying step 3. after each file added.

And what if the user just did a refresh?

I know/hope Crise is aware of these Lizard, but unfortunately he seems to be very occupied with bug fixes atm. I also hope to see new features, but a stable client to accomodate them is better, right?
-
Thanks for reporting, hopefully it can be reproduced on Win XP, since on Win 2000 the report is not detailed enuf.

Please go back to 0.4.0 or wait for a more stable public beta. AFAIK Beta2 is kinda left and development started from another version.
-
Hi, Please specify OS, what you were doing when app crashed... However since the above is known, a general advice (I give it ~3 times in the past 20 mins ) would be to use temporarily 0.4.0 or bare with this bug and wait the next public release.

Crash - Code: e06d7363 () Version: 1.0.0B2 (2007-04-10)

Agreed, it is not bad to have a spell checker, it will NOT waste resources as long as it is an option, but imo we have far more important things (bugs) to fix atm.
-
@HaveFaith1918 - This is a bug report, please downgrade to our latest stable 0.4.0 or wait for the next better public beta. @Staff - Please move to Support/Bug Reports.

Oh, I do know you. Welcome back all!
-
I hope for the same, glad to see you all again. :)

Heh, sorry, thought it seems just comic. For me the main thing is to be helpful, the "style" is like a cherry on the top. What better than an elegant notice when smth wrong? :P

Thank you for reporting, it seems the crash is too frequent to allow usage of Apex. I hope our to developers answer soon.

Have you clicked "To view technical details about the error, click here"?

Hm, hub couldn't... Could it?

http://forums.apexdc.net/index.php?showtopic=161 Don't allow hub/UPnP to override. This option dose exactly what it says on the tin. i.e. If enabled ApexDC++ will only use the settings which you have entered. If this is not enabled your UPnP device can/will change these settings dynamically to try and attempt to get the best performance.

Hi I have a possible sollution! As you describe it, it does not seem to be a hub-side problem, rather zK++ has "ready" user commands entered in client's Settings. So you need to make the same for Apex, there is a topic already: http://forums.apexdc.net/index.php?showtop...;hl=raw+command http://forums.apexdc.net/index.php?showtopic=1567 Good luck and feel free to ask if sg is still unclear. btw, who has some good "ready command sets" to include in Apex?
-
/wa and /remwa for simplicity? Edit: /addw and /remw, even /aw and /rw?
-
Please connect to TechGeeks.geekgalaxy.com:1411 with either Apex or regular client, and ask for online help. I will be in "my signature" hub for the next 2 hours probably, so you can try also there, and part of TGO staff is there as well (can't log on to TGO since I am in uni atm).

Win XP has a built-in firewall, in which you should either open a port and use the same port no. for TCP and UDP in Apex (ignore TLS for now), or add ApexDC.exe to Exceptions. The connection checker in Apex "Check connection" may give a wrong result, try with real search & download to see if all works. Win XP SP2: >> Control Panel >> Windows Firewall Win XP SP1: ~ >> *LAN card name > Properties > TCP/IP Properties > Advanced Same applies for any extra firewall you may have, say even bundled with your Antivirus.

This one? http://forums.apexdc.net/index.php?showtopic=1594 If so, pls wait a little bit more.
