Major, minor... can you (all) estimate smth, per given hub size?
-
Well, it is not possible he to be the only one on the world with this problem. If we are about to increase popularity of Apex, we should pay attention to what users need.
-
Imo it will, in exactly the same way as, f. ex., non-TTH clients are now.
-
Sorry, but when asking for support, we either cooperate to each other, or you are on your own. We are now working for a stable 1.0.0 Final, and can't deal with the bugs of 0.4.0, most of which are fixed in 1.0.0B4 (possibly introducing also a couple of new ones tho).

I am confused... Somebody is trying to kill ADC.

A bit offtopic, but here is mine: My player v. %[version]* %[state]: %[title] # %[percent] # %[elapsed] of %[length] # %[bar] @ %[bitrate] # %[sample] # %[channels] # (©Zlobomi®) I know, a little spammish maybe...

Similar one from my friend. Report wasn't generated, I hope it is in same dir for Vista. But he was in PM session and downloading a filelist...
-
Please look for exceptioninfo.txt in ApexDC++\Settings. It might be generated.
-
Regarding the above post, to highlight the topic. The file TTH: PTG2F2KB6EEKZHPLH35KJJWSX656GQUET43P3CI Crash was not connected with DT. My friend has tried also RSX, it crashed even w/o starting the file download. Attaching the two reports, hoping that there will be smth common to help us. exceptioninfo.txt RSX___exceptioninfo.txt

Someone knowing C++ will remove it from the code of some mod. But this is not the question I believe. Anyway, I will not repeat my opinion more, in order not to bloat the topic, unless it (my opinion) is changed.

Имаме голямо количество такива репорти... Но ако си сигурен, че е точно от iso файл, това е напредък. Засега опитай да го свалиш с друг клиент, ако е спешно, най-добре с класическо ДЦ++.

1. Eventually version 1.0.0B4, it is the newest. 2. Usually helps, but don't hurry so much. 3. See 2. 4. Great idea, but consider that if you sacrifice yourself, you probably won't be able to use DC. Now seriously, try to move your download queue and add the files one by one, with long enough pauses to let Apex crash. It usually happens to be some file in the queue, and this advice has helped to several users already. Edit: My friend has just reported that he got the same report when trying to load an iso file into Daemon Tools 4.10 Lite. He The file is probably 7SAJN77ORNL2VDKRZUDBYE2QCSU3VUVGHWSXPTY (he is not sure, already has deleted it).

Please try the latest 1.0.0B4.

For 90% percent you are probably right. I however pretend to be from the 10%, who take it as a principle issue. Dc has already enough limitations compared with the other P2P apps. Hub owners can decide whose share is useless and how to deal with him. It is not right to take decisions, which should be taken from the user.
-
Unfortunately I am sharing over 200GB too, and I fully agree with Tom24. I do not want my freedom of choice under question, regardless that I never choose. It is of nobody's interest to play nasty. I would not start...

V1.0.0B4 - Blank Menu |also not accepting winamp as default media player
Zlobomir replied to MatrixCode's topic in Pre 1.0 Reports
I think MatrixCode needs to associate again music files with Winamp. As for the blank menu, I don't have a Vista to look at. -
Please provide the exceptioninfo.txt from the Apex DC++\Settings folder.
-
For search check your UDP port, it is mainly responsible for searching. As for the crash reports, this is not the right forum, and the information in them is too little to do anything. P. S. I did not knew you had reading problems, sorry.
-
Yes, ratio overrides manual setting of upload slots. Maybe it would be more convenient vice-versa...
-
Hmph, possibly you found your IP now, if it is dynamic. Sorry, I know that it is not nice to treat you like a noob, but something has to have changed in some way. There are no miracles.
-
You are quite right, all we are. And vi7o's didn't asked for an explanation why he does not see limiter, but right how to hide it's own one. Anywayz, enuf on this. :)

Maybe you have overlooked smth, like your firewall (or XP firewall being nasty). Edit: C'mon Toast, it is X-mas, people are a bit... distracted. But good that you noted, let's hope that more users will follow the advice.
-
I have not used Vista still, but I think that a Win-PE boot CD will allow you to do anything.
-
It could be a useful feature btw... Smth like monitoring the I-net connectivity, then on "connected after disconnection" trying to connect to all offline hubs.
-
Ah, command line parameters maybe. I would Google it...
