I have the feeling that these settings are highly latent. Took effect on my setup after 3 minutes or even more. Gosh, it is awful, I haven't noticed until the router change... And Strong DC 2.1 still can't connect in active, true I haven't "tortured" SDC so much.

And to wash their hands, they sure can produce a good-for nothing OS and say: "See, this one is compatible, as you wanted. Go enjoy the crashes." Please check for exceptioninfo.txt in Apex DC++\Settings folder. Actually we are bug-hunting version B5 already.

Try to play with the router's SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection) feature, if such available. And give it a time and restart to take effect. I was forced to disable it on my Netgear WGR614v7, even to connect to my LAN hub (PC next room). Maybe it is something that the developers should check, since I don't think a router feature like this should be disabled.

I do not like even more how beginnerS with nice connections enter 20+ hubs and have 2 upload slots open, again without their knowledge, and at some point get a kick or even ban, not to mention all the possible "blessings", which they get from more experienced users. Imagine a non-English speaking newbie, he will just think "What the .... (use imagination here)" and uninstall, or be a permanent pain in the... hub. @Satan: I will try btw. Well, thank you, I've always knew that people don't give a sh*t about others, f. ex. Bulgarians in this case. Respectively it is unlikely some non-Dutch to translate Apex in Dutch, it's just a wicked human nature maybe. If you need and can do it, please go ahead and publish it here, it will be used and appreciated. I am still hoping to be able to do a new BG translation some day. It is how I think it actually happens, client gets tranlated when he gets enogh popularity in a given country (at the point when so many users use it, that some of them happens to be dedicated enough to translate).
