  2. I need an antivirus, atm I'm completely unprotected and I can't stand any more useless cracked programs that lack instructions for how to install the crack and bla bla bla. I'm thinking about bullguard, any thoughts? Btw, isn't it possible to insert the crack into the program before packing it so people don't have to depend on instruction files that often get deleted for some reason that I don't understand....
  3. Ignores don't stick?

I've recently added some incredibly annoying people to my ignore list... However, after rebooting I can once again see what they write... Is there a way to make it stick so I don't have to re-add them to my ignorelist after each reboot?
  4. Check File List

What function does Check File List have? I've clicked it a few times in the right click menu, but doesn't appear to do anything, is it just to locate fake share? And if so, can't it be so that the Check File List command also crosschecks the share with your ADLSearch and shows possible hits in a PM?
  5. Downloading

Usually the Downloads folder ends up in the settings folder, for me anyway...
  6. AML ADL RAR hubs

Nice ADL, first hub I tried it in I found a user sharing child pornography. I've modified mine a bit, seems it isn't all that RAR though. I added searches for R5, PDVD, DVDSCR and the obvious .media.exe files (viruses). It is however really good at finding sick porn, so thumbs up Toast. I will be adding Faces of death and similar to it as well as nazi/racist material
  7. I liked that list, not a single swedish ISP on it, guess we're blessed over here...
  8. ADLSearch for Apex?

I've looked and looked but I can't find a single ADLSearch for Apex, especially not the ones I want... Real RAR ADLSearch that will let me clean up my share enough to get into any rar hub... Anyone got such an xml for Apex?
  9. Steal a fuldc feature?

Well, it's a fun little feature to have but yeah, it's noones buisness what you use or don't use your discspace for... Would it be hard to implement it into Apex?
  10. Steal a fuldc feature?

I would like to have a function in Apex that FulDC and AirDC has, the /info which gives you Free/Total HDD, not really necessary, but a fun thing to have. Is this possible to do without adding too much strain on the client?
  11. ADLSearch for Apex?

It appears to be working, although I cannot find many if any users in the hubs I'm in that have any such things in their shares... But if you manage to develop it a bit I'd be happy to try it with other more common things, IE too big and too small files...
  12. Automatically connecting to hubs?

Is it the Apex support hub? I think it's in there by default but it's almost always full. But you can uncheck it in your favorites if you want to, then it wont pop up when starting your client...
  13. ADLSearch for Apex?

I've checked it, but the item's it looks for aren't common in priv hubs or the 1 public I am in. But I'll keep checking and see what it can find...
  14. Steal a fuldc feature?

Haha, well, I choose the word steal cause it is a fuldc / airdc option atm, but I guess it can't be that hard to make such an option for apex, or implement it into the /stats function so it shows Free/Total HDD along with all the other stuff
  15. ADLSearch for Apex?

    Sure, I'll help out
  16. ADLSearch for Apex?

Hey Toast, can you teach me how to write ADLSearches for Apex? Or how to transform for example FulDC's 0ndjultomte's so it works in Apex?
  17. ADLSearch for Apex?

No worries... I'm not in a rush..
  18. ADLSearch for Apex?

Sweet, thanks Toast, can't wait =)
  19. 1.0.0B4 crash, merklecheckoutputstream...

I just got this crash too, only when attempting to restart the client it just crashes again... I'll try removing the last added file from the queue... see if it helps... Don't really want to remove the hash files... Edit: It worked, it was a bad TTH thingy, got TTH inconcistency warning before it crashed, but manually removing the file works if you know which user you're getting it from...
  20. I'm on the search for a new antivirus

No no, paidware is on the map... I've grown tired of keygens that don't work and so on, might as well pay for a proggy and get it to work longer than a few months...
  21. I'm on the search for a new antivirus

Ended up trying Bullguard, really smooth program, easy to use and not too expensive to buy...
  22. Crash [1.0.0B4]

    Crashed just 2 minutes ago, three times in a row, just cause I restarted it... Got a few downloads going, a few uploads, msn, winamp + a download window for winamp update (IE). Nothing i haven't done before, got a relatively small download queue, most annoying, can't get it to work, keeps crashing. over and over and over again.. Code: c0000005 (Access violation) Version: 1.0.0B4 (2007-08-07) Major: 5 Minor: 1 Build: 2600 SP: 2 Type: 1 Time: 2007-09-15 17:03:26 TTH: 7CNQCQXDGEV7S2IDTUSYEW73M722LLS7BVOOXDI ntdll!0x7C901010: RtlEnterCriticalSection d:\cvs\apexdc++\trunk\client\merklecheckoutputstream.h(119): MerkleCheckOutputStream<MerkleTree<TigerHash=0x062DB018,1024>=0x00000151,1>::write d:\cvs\apexdc++\trunk\client\chunkoutputstream.h(79): ChunkOutputStream<1>::write d:\cvs\apexdc++\trunk\client\filteredfile.h(133): FilteredOutputStream<UnZFilter=0x062FB028,1>::write d:\cvs\apexdc++\trunk\client\downloadmanager.cpp(533): DownloadManager::on d:\cvs\apexdc++\trunk\client\userconnection.cpp(180): UserConnection::on d:\cvs\apexdc++\trunk\client\speaker.h(64): Speaker<BufferedSocketListener>::fire<BufferedSocketListener::X<3>=0x02C1FF00,unsigned char *=0x02C1FF08,int> d:\cvs\apexdc++\trunk\client\bufferedsocket.cpp(263): BufferedSocket::threadRead d:\cvs\apexdc++\trunk\client\bufferedsocket.cpp(515): BufferedSocket::checkSocket d:\cvs\apexdc++\trunk\client\bufferedsocket.cpp(531): BufferedSocket::run d:\cvs\apexdc++\trunk\client\thread.h(161): Thread::starter f:\sp\vctools\crt_bld\self_x86\crt\src\threadex.c(348): _callthreadstartex f:\sp\vctools\crt_bld\self_x86\crt\src\threadex.c(326): _threadstartex
  23. Crash [1.0.0B4]

Adds down to bad xml files.. So don't copy xml's from other clients, might not work, and if they don't you're screwed...
  24. I'm on the search for a new antivirus

Tried Kaspersky once, made my comp freeze up when updating... A bit annoying since it updates at startup, or did for me, when the load on the cpu is the biggest... Took 15-20 minutes to get control of the comp enough to deactivate the update...
  25. I need a little help...

DC++ does not do this... But from what I've gathered, problems start when I replace the ADLSearch file, but they're made for fuldc among others, Apex doesn't have one of those as far as I know (for rar)... 0.4.0 doesn't give me an exceptioninfo.txt cause I don't have an apex.pdb file or something like that... 1.0.0B4 does, and it's been pasted into the crash forum in my thread there..
