This is very hard, even if I limit myself to metal only bands. Overall favourite band is Megadeth though, I'm I'm going to see next month. My musical taste is changing at the moment though, becoming less interested in metal. :S

The list reads as the list of someone who has actively looked for alternatives to any application with limitations. You should try Directory Opus sometime, it's a replacement for the really quite limited explorer. You may find it's the most powerful and customizable application you'll ever use, and will allow you to intergrate the use of some of these programs into it.

Good Luck Chuck? I saw that in the cinema, but can't remember that screen from it. :)

I would have thought this is more something that needs to be done at a protocol level.

Makes sure people read the topic? :)

Use /me instead. It's clientside so it may not show up correctly in all/older clients, but it'll always work for you, in any hub/PM.

MPC is not developed by Microsoft, the only reason it exists is the simplistic interface is all that is needed to play movies, the back end has been changed to make it better at actually playing files. There's some things I like about the user interface which I miss when using VLC. Project Homepage

There's lots of things which I'd like to be added a lot more, but just won't happen. I would have though this feature would be relatively simple to add, and it looks like some people want it. Yes, this feature is relatively unimportant, but if it's easy to add the and people are not against it then it may as well be added.

Programs like OneNote or EverNote are great but they use plenty of resources. I'm sure some people would like to have multiple notepads within ApexDC++ because they like to keep things separate and not all in one notepad. I think we can agree that plenty of people use the single notepad already? If that's the case then I'm sure a percentage of those would like to have multiple notepads. A combobox/dropdown list, such as there is for the hublists, would be fine for the GUI side of things, could even copy the hublists configuration dialog quite a bit.

I wasn't aware of this, will have to take a look into it. Thanks for reporting it. For the moment I doubt there is any workaround.

Can see how it would fit into that thread, but I've moved it into a seperate Support thread just to keep the other one clear. ;)

I use a Linksys (Cisco) WRT54GL, which is fine but not the best I assume. I've never had any issues with it and bought it to replace a similar Linksys one, that I'd been using for years, which didn't have wifi. Linksys seem to be a popular choice for home routers, and the interface is quite nice. The WRT54GL itself is pretty good as it's got enough RAM/memory to support the Linux-based firmwares like openwrt, and DD-WRT. Having said that, most routers will support those third party firmwares, and by loading one of them it makes the standard interface issue on each router kind of irrelevant.

Definitely true, I don't think removing any Apex specific bugs is unrealistic though. I doubt there's too many of them anyway. :)

It looks like a shot from Death Sentence, which stars Kevin Bacon. However, that's the film which was just used so I assume it can't be that? :)
-
When all known bugs have been removed I assume, at least bugs that have are specific to Apex anyway. The final version one should be a very usable product and there should not be any issues, I don't think we're at that stage quite yet.

It's not that high a percentage I wouldn't have though, but yeah that's the main reason.

Heh, I've not even seen it yet. Sorry about the delay in posting the next movie, but here it is.

Moved, as suggested. These feature would be nice, but it's how we go about scanning people's files that's hard to decide. Plenty of people (myself included) arn't going to want all there harddrives hashed due to the amount of time that will take.
