  1. It is probably some bug, but I really don't know how to technically change shared directory in Settings/Sharing section. I know it is stupid question, but I tried everything and there is still just My computer. Thx

    What OS are you using?

Just double click on the folder you want to share..

  2. I can't see why you are happy with that number considering almost 800 of them haven't even posted.

Because we have 1,000 valid email addresses to send the notification of the client being released. Don't be so negative. ;)

Looks like we broke the 1,000 post barrier. :)

  3. i know....but i want to choose the source!

if 20 users have the file file i want...when i click on them, the file starts from the user who connects first but maybe he's not the one i want (because of connection or number of free slots at that moment) so i must disconnet that user and wait and see if a good one connects

Enabling disconnect slow users will solve this problem. ^_^

  4. Indeed. I have installed a few mods today:

    • User Reputation: View your rep in My Controls - Donators/Beta Testers can see who left comments (you can give out 10 points a day, not to the same person)
    • Team images and pips: Beta Testers, Donators, Staff now have pips allocated to the number of posts
    • My Assistant: You can now delete, reply and view the full message of new PM's
    • Switch Posting Interface: You can now switch between standard editor and rich text editor while posting
    • Global Forum Message: This will be displayed when new versions are released, to notify forum members

More mods to come as I see them..

  5. come on /help is almost a standard in DC mods in theory every DC++ mods has that command, so people should know about it, if not then i'll just add a topic about it to guides section ^_^

This is why DC++ isn't as user friendly as some would like. How does anew user who got it off a website know about /help? He'd look for help in the Help menu. :D

  6. Statement of problem

Many users receive Downloaded tree does not match TTH root while downloading files. Usually when a user updates his/her client to the latest version it may cause the hashdata to become corrupt and therefore have corrupt TTH.

    Solution

    1. Close program.
    2. Delete hashdata.dat and hashindex.xml located in the Program files\ApexDC++\Settings folder.
    3. Restart program - your share will be rehashed
The problem should no longer exist. ^_^

  7. I agree with your point but usually when someone downloads something usually shuts down the client. And I mean late at night.

Not usually, people will do it... but most will just leave it on overnight.

I know this option but the point is to restart itself automatically, without my attention. Otherwise it has no point i think cause if you are there, you can restart it by yourself. Anyway. Thanks for your time. ^_^

What happens if you automatically start it, and it crashes again? It will stay in this loop all night until you stop it in the morning... therefore I don't think this should be added. :D
