It's time to unsticky this (party because the poll has been removed - due to a bug). If nobody is close to the date when development properly starts, we'll open a new competition.
-
The problem is you, not the client. Nobody else has reported anything like this before... the chat/hub system is from DC++, they'd have improved it if there's a problem.

VLC (Video LAN) player as AVI Preview altenate?
Lee replied to AddictedToChaos's topic in Feature Requests
I like both your options. So yeah, we could bundle VLC with ApexDC++ and allow it to use the Preview function. Or maybe just show people how to do it? -
Try NetLimiter 1.3, not 2.0.
-
Like mentioned previously, SkyNet is in charge of the OP version.

Favourite hubs > right click your hub. It doesn't matter though, as Crise said your limit is always visable. Connection reset by server (usually) means your port/connection to the hub has closed. When I'm on Bittorrent, it uses far too many ports and usually conflicts with PWDC, therefore hubs get closed. Try a program called NetLimiter, limit your upload speed and see whether it allows you to browse the internet and also keep the hub open.

What would this achieve? Basically overriding the max segments they have set in their settings?
-
LDC++ is out of the question. We need to contact SkyNet and get him to post on what hes comortable with using.
-
They'll ban it whatever due to segment downloading, limiter, etc.
-
I thought you hid that. Nevermind then, maybe it should he hidden for emulation mode.

Deadmeat? DCDM++ is based on 0.401 code. The problem is newer DC++ versions will not allow you to grab their filelist and download off them. This is how the dev's are forcing you to update. DCDM++ is still being worked on, they're in 'buggy betas' stage. :)

Seen lua scripting in any op clients that are still being developed?
-
You'll have to wait until ApexDC++ is publically released, which will be based ont he latest DC++ and StrongDC++ versions. :)
-
You need to emulate in your favourite hub so they cannot see you uging the bandwidth limit feature (properties > emulate DC++). PWDC will not cause you to disconnect if all you bandwidth is being used. It's more than likely your firewall/router is dropping your connection to the hub. This really belongs in support. Moved.

You're currently winning. :)

He was trying to match your front page one, and with shadow it looked too thick.
-
Don't worry, Kevo had produced an exstensive guide for our upcoming ApexDC++ client to state each feature in the settings dialog and explain what they do. You'll be able to see it finished after our public version is out. :)

Okay, there's been an update to the forum logo (Ctrl + F5 to empty cache) by KP. It uses the style on the front page, so it's an improvement to the previous one. Thanks KP. :)

Can we have specifics: Why the client you chose (stability, positive development, respectable dev team) What features do you like in the client What features would you like to see in our version Thanks for your time.
-
Whoever it was, sounds funny. :)
-
Balder's right, you only need to reconnect to the hub. :)

I think you're going to have to re-download the file, unfortunately.
