  1. Game: Guess the DC++ client

Haha, damn that's a bad logo.
  2. Swedish Forum

A simple welcome message that I stated in an above post should do it. If you think any popular guides would be useful, you could translate some basic elements of them.
  3. Your Simpsons Avatar

Haha, about right with the hair.
  4. Swedish Forum

Created the forum, you have mod privileges in that forum. So please create a pinned topic welcoming people into the forum and explaining they can discuss feature requests and ask for support there. If there's any decent features you think should make it into ApexDC++, but translate it and put it in the feature requests area.
  5. Your Simpsons Avatar

    That's pretty cool. Here's mine:
  6. Game: Guess the DC++ client

Current scores 1. Spyke - 4 =1. RadoX - 4 2. Greg - 1 Remember to keep posting the updated version of the scores each time somebody gets a point.
  7. Your browser of choice

From our forum statistics: 60% IE, 30% Firefox and 10% Opera. I wonder what our active member percentage is though considering Opera is winning. :(
  8. Game: Guess the DC++ client

I will start the game off, here is a logo of the client:
  9. Longest uptime?

And ever since you've had rubbish uptime? Typical anti-Vista comment, somebody had to (I'm on Vista too for anybody who cares).
  10. PirateShare.net launched

It was hosted on the same server as nsaneproductions.com, just it caused an overload. His site gets enough donations to help him pay for the server, so I don't see why they could have donated for pirateshare and get extra hardware. But that's how it goes..
  11. PirateShare.net launched

PirateShare is a proxy protected file hosting service without any stupid download limits. No waiting periods, no verification codes, no hourly bandwidth limits, and no need for premium accounts. It's hosted by PRQ Inet, which in turn host sites like The Pirate Bay. If you have a file under 50MB that requires a host, you can use PirateShare.net.
  12. PirateShare.net launched

He's joking Greg. He was pissed off when he wrote the message, and quite rightly so.
  13. Which console do you prefer?

So, vote away. I recently watched a few E3 trailers and thought it would be nice to see who has what in this community. I personally own a 360 and love Xbox Live and it's community. The (exclusive) games coming out this year is excellent, and I hope more come next year. GameTrailers is a brilliant resource to watch the E3 videos for anybody wanting to catch up. Post your thoughts.
  14. PirateShare.net launched

What's that got to do with this situation? PirateShare was taken offline because it required huge amounts of CPU and Memory in order process the download requests.. nothing to do with bandwidth... that stuff is easy to get hold on.
  15. neXTPeer.net is now public

Seems nextpeer has been suspended by the host (probably unpaid bills), so I'll unpin this until it's revived. :(
  16. Which console do you prefer?

Want to post or PM me with your gamertag if you're on Xbox Live?
  17. PirateShare.net launched

Unfortunately PirateShare caused too much load on their server, and nobody helped out by donating. So they've had to take it offline in order for nsaneproductions site to stay up.
  18. It's documented on the StrongDC++ forums too.
  19. 500,000 downloads milestone

Nice poem, what will you say when we reach 1 million?
  20. Which console do you prefer?

Super Nintendo: Great console, still remember those games. Donkey Kong :D
  21. AML 3.02

Why have you decided not to connect to DC but maintain AML?
  22. AML 3.02

    Nice work, keep it up.
  23. Linux Project Development

The latest code is available to view here.
  24. PM Request....

    It's being polite, not spam.
  25. PM Request....

Why do you need to ask people for a slot? If they can grant you a slot, they would have done so already. Just because you ask nicely doesn't mean they can give you one. Same for those people who beg for one, grab the file and disconnect asap. I don't think this is required. Maybe mass PM'ing people you're uploading to is a better feature, informing them you are going offline for 30 minutes or something.
