I understand that Dj, the problem is that it would make Apex a fake client because people would download it just to share the bare minimum in each hub.
-
Well faze stop being inflammatory, hmm? I'm not allowed an opinion? Grow up mate.
-
Hes probably having HDD problems, or he's simply starting a new segment, you should be more understanding.
-
Not really, surely removing folders from the Share Directory without the user's request is just silly....
-
The same user can't download more than 1 file at the time, it's hard-coded not to allow that.
-
I don't understand some DC user's, I can't see how that is the slightest bit useful.
-
Seems to be a problem with ApexDC, whereby if the HDD disappears and it hashs the share, it removed the drive from share. SDC does not do this.
-
Is that a secondary or primary hard drive? If possible, try removing it and see if the error repeats itself. Look's like a CRC error to me.
-
Go to sharing and change the Upload slots option at the bottom....
-
You cant, If the guy is abusing you, add him to your ignore list and you wont recieve his PM's anymore. But you can't stop him dling, thats just lame.
-
Also, what is to stop people sharing the bare minimum in all hubs?
-
Me 2, I wouldn't know which one was selected.

Only by hacking the router, but we didn't tell you to do that. On a more serious note, you could try connecting on port 80, or traffic tunnelling to desquise the data as HTTP.
-
It's more than likely the hashdata had got currupted, either through a pc crash or dc crash.
-
Connecting through a router? Port forwarding set correctly?
-
Er...I can't see the picture? Server error.

This is to do with the partial sharing code. Partial sharing retains all files as active for partial sharing within the current session. If you restart Apex, these files will disappear again. It's part of the code inherited from SDC. I too, have seen this, it must be something in Crise's code, as it does not present itself in SDC. One way to 'work-around' the problem, which is 99% successful afaik, is to pause the file first, let the download stop, THEN move the file, seems to work most of the time. I have seen this one also, but it does correct itself, so I have doesn't seem to bother me. Are you on Vista BTW? Possibly these problems are presented by vista, I use vista also.

I have a problem with Apex. Please, help me if you can

It's a bug in UAC causing it to recognise the new Apex exe as a different program. If you keep UAC off until MS release SP1 it will work. The UAC 'issue' is fixed in SP1 I believe. -
Did you go back to 0.4.0 from B5? If so, it's because it cant use the previous partial data.
-
How do you mean? You can already select multiple emoticons packs from right clicking the icon.
-
Try rehashing your file list.

Network sharing always takes a long time. I hashed 500Gb once at 2.5Mb/s, so I know your pain :crying:
-
Ehm....that would be wrong tho, we are emulating the version of DC++ we are built on. If we emulated another version that would make ApDC++ a fake client.

What do you expect him to do? Have a 5 hour conversation? If you expect us to believe that it works for the first 2 lines you type then all of a sudden stops working, your deluded (or insane) if you dont give us an explanation of how and when it supposedly stops working, how can we test it?

go back to 0.4.0, this is part of the upgrade to B5, finish your downloads in 040 then use b5.
