I like the idea of autosharing the update file to minimize bandwidth usage on the server, network (for people with internal dc hubs), etc. Nearly all the decent torrent clients do this.

Can you explain what you mean by a VLAN cannot be used in DC? I am looking for a solution where for example I have Hamachi installed on computer 1 within a certain physical network and I have Hamachi installed on computer 2 out of network. I would like to use Apex from the out of network computer (computer 2) to access a DC hub limited to access from the physical network which computer 1 is on.

Do you think you could autodetect this so we don't get people lying about their speed?

Can't Apex just save everything in C:\ProgramData so we don't have to deal with UAC? As for any setting changes that request admin rights can't you just popup the UAC then? Why can't the magnet thing be installed all the time not just when the program is running? (I don't know what magnet does can someone explain).

64 bit version would be great. Lots of people are going to make the switch with windows 7.

I vote add a system tray button weather it be its own button or the close button (with an option) I don't care. Leaning towards it being its own button.

I say yes to both of these however for the first one I would say prepare the message and then give the user an option somewhere to select which announces to send... otherwise you will likely flood chat. Also I agree about the automation... the more the better!

Could ADC integrate with a virus scanner? Many torrent clients do.

I second this. Also DHT. BitComet integration/features would be nice also. Like when you are downloading a file on BitComet it searches for other matching torrents, trackers, eDonkey download sources, DHT, Peer Exchange, online mirrors, etc.

This isn't a whine but rather a request. It would be really nice if ApexDC++ would automaticly put things back in line if you forget to turn on a hard drive before opening ApexDC++. Not having to rehash the data would be nice also.

Can you add a way to limit the total KiB/s?
