Ah, I almost forgot about this little feature proposal but thanks for seconding it
-
A small feature change proposal: when copying the text from chat (main or pm) the emoticons should be preserved in their textual form :)
-
As of now, you don't have to (that is, if the drive letter didn't change, nor did the paths).
-
Oh. I expected such an answer
-
Example: I am globally in passive mode (set in connection options) and active (direct connection) in a local LAN hub (set in its favorite hub properties). The problem is, whenever I try to connect to a passive user in the LAN hub, ApexDC++ doesn't even try and thinks it can't do that because both of us are passive. That's just not true since I am active in this particular hub and my tag states it as well. Plus, other passive users in this hub are able to download from me without problem. Please fix that, it's really annoying.

I think that closing the client would be the only reasonable solution, since the user isn't always in front of his PC. Anyway, let them choose what should happen ;)
-
This bug persists in 1.2.2.
-
Well, you can still try it yourself ;)
-
Use the hub IP address for the second favorite hub item :P
-
Place your ApexDC folder somewhere on D: (if you have it) where it is outside of UAC's sight. Plus always run it as administrator. Unsaved settings is a widespread problem because of UAC and is discussed here many times.
-
This problem still exists in 1.2.1.
-
Just use any other hub from the hublist (click the first icon on the toolbar to show the hublist). If you like a particular hub, you can add it to your favorites by issuing the /fav command (with the /).
-
Is it so slow in other transfers as well? Try with FTP or windows sharing... If so, then the problem lies somewhere outside ApexDC++. Hub configuration doesn't depend on if users are connecting using wifi or cable.
-
Is this whn you connect to a hub or a user? If a hub, then try other hubs, probably it doesn't catch with you :P
-
Use a no-installer version of ApexDC then, that's what I do. It isn't needed anyway.
-
I don't know, never used it in such environment. Judging from that noone responds, nobody else tried to benchmark his gigabit connection using Apex.
-
For blocking the annoying messages you can use the antispam plugin (find it in the plugins subforum). This is when you know what the message contains.
-
Looks promising. I hope it will help us find rare files :whistling:
-
create the folder and put the files there according to the howto file

No search results in Active, Port forwarded and passive search OK
Mek replied to DemonIced's topic in Support
Try connecting to a passive user in active mode. If that works and search doesn't, something is wrong with your UDP port. -
+1 for this feature I keep getting spam reports on opchat which is actually an advertisement of some sh1tty hub. Would be great if I could block it

"attention everyone, Rudr2di is here!"

Not with vanilla ApexDC++. Maybe with a plugin...
