Look for your old IPaddress in your connection settings. Put your new IP address there in place of the old one. You can use tool at http://ip.iol.cz to determine your IP address.

Auto send newly hashed releases (files) into hub chat as message
Mek replied to sKetch's topic in Feature Requests
I could imagine it as a LUA plugin. I don't think this feature would be built-in to ApexDC. -
But ignore user ignores chat messages from him only, however, it still allows downloading from him, right? Plus, it isn't persistent between ApexDC launches...
-
That means your client is misconfigured. It sends wrong IP address in your requests.
-
According to your connection. I guess the maximum number would be 10. You just need to carefully choose hubs you are in. Some hubs don't even allow you to download until you register. You don't notice it because it is written on the main chat you couldn't see because you have too many tabs opened. I could go on... :)
-
I guess your "some download speed" is in relation to hubs you are connected to. Btw. do you need so many hubs?
-
Filter is for IP address only :)
-
Ah, nothing, I forgot about the CDM Debug Messages. But the results in there are pretty quickly going and bloated wiith TTH searches :)
-
Partial file sharing (torrent-like) is already implemented. Or do you think of about something else?
-
If you cannot connect to any hub, make sure your firewall in the router is disabled as well.
-
No error messages etc...? Well, looks like you should post the downloaded filelist as an attachment to this forum so a developer can take a look at why it doesn't want to open. Plus, I can try it too, if it opens here.
-
I know this problem, and there is an error message saying that filelist is not available for that user. This is not a bug of Apex but of the client on the remote side. You can ask the user to refresh his filelist (by pressing ctrl-E) or to change his client (preferably to Apex).
-
Use Get filelist instead of Browse filelist (in the context menu of user you want to download filelist from). This confusing "feature" has been discussed many times already. For the developers: At least make Get filelist option the default one for new ApexDC installations so this sort of questions doesn't appear on the forum anymore.
-
Wrong forum. As for your problem - check the settings of your download folders if they exist and are writable.
-
CHunter you many months wait until fixed it :whistling:
-
There is a limited possibility of this. Go to settings - advanced - for experts - and turn on the webserver there.
-
You can run it through proxy only if it is a Socks proxy. Just set the information about proxy in connection settings - outgoing connections - and set passive mode.
-
The thing about filelist not being completely downloaded is a nasty "feature" called Browse file list which mostly confuses users (by being default). Just use Get file list instead and you will be okay. The default one can be selected in the settings.

Can you suggest such software for Vista x64? Since PG2 is dead long ago...
-
Yes, you're right. I reported it a long time ago.

Hi, is there a way to return to the old-style flags? I am not quite sure I like the new fancy ones Thanx
-
I understand. However, when you do a change you know not all users would like, leave the option to revert to old behaviour - a checkbox in the settings probably. I don't suggest making a checkbox for EVERY feature, but to the small group of them which are likely to get unliked by some users. I mean, there are still many options which are not important, like "Use old-style sharing interface" or "Hide hub topic" or "Enable $HubTopic support", so why not this? :)

The old flags are still in the exe file despite the fact they are never used?

Good idea. +1
