trouble connecting over wireless home network

hello i'm hoping someone can help me. I am trying to setup apexdc on a windows vista laptop over a wireless home network. i have set up a static ip on my laptop, setup apexdc with manual port forwarding, forwarded the ports properly as per portforward.com, and disabled windows firewall. after all this i still can't get apexdc to connect to any hub, when i click test connection in the settings it always gives me a failed no connection. my router is a wrt54g. same results if i put apexdc in passive mode as well.

If you cannot connect to any hub, make sure your firewall in the router is disabled as well.
