SLOW SPEEDS OVER WiFi

I'm facing extremely slow connection speeds over WLAN between users.

We use two Lan switches one a Gigabit LAN (1GBps) wired switch and another Wifi switch with a max speed of 54mbps bridged together with a commom server .

Transfers between clients within the Gigabit switch works fine at an average of 2-11 mbps whereas between the Wifi nodes and between a ' Gigabit and Wifi ' node dwnld/upld works at a staggering 5-50 KiB/s .

Please suggest a solution or change in settings on dc++ ... Does the hub/client need to be reconfigured for WiFi ???

Is it so slow in other transfers as well? Try with FTP or windows sharing... If so, then the problem lies somewhere outside ApexDC++.

Hub configuration doesn't depend on if users are connecting using wifi or cable.

wifi transfer speeds (FTP and windows filesharing) are generally slower then the gigabit lan .. but still goes on at bout 2Mbps on an average... but Apex works at 2-100kbps... thats like wayy slower than FTP...
