Share from external disk skips when it's unplugged.

Hi. I have the following problem: when I forget to turn on the external hard drive and launch , I "forgets" about the share. So I have to rehash it again. I want to keep information about the share even when hard drive is unplugged. Do you have any siggestions? Thanks.

Correction, you don't need to rehash in that scenario, just re-add it to the list of shared files... so I don't really see this a problem, because when the drive is unplugged it isn't there so we can't share it and thus the end result you described is sensible and to be expected.

Thank you. I decided not to use external disk for sharing some time ago, maybe I used earlier version which required rehashing. One more time, thanks.
