Slot Ratio Help Required

Hi,

Having used various c++ programs for several years. I still cant work out why some downloads dont start automatically ???

I assume its regarding wrong slot ratio settings ????

Here's the scenario.

1: Only 1 Download in Download Queue. ( 37% Downloaded )

2: Download Status stipulates that waiting x of x users online ( Example 4 of 7 users online and waiting ) but nothing downloading !!!

3: 23 Favourite Hubs Open ( All Registered and sharing sufficient file size )

Question:

A: What should be the number for the upload slots and the number required for slot ratio under settings ???

B: Is there a rule of thumb method of working the slot ratio out ???

It's unlikely a slot ratio problem, It's more likely the users dont have free slots, look in your download window and you will see exactly what is wrong.
