UPnP just stopped working

Hello,

i just got the terrifying "failed to create port mappings" message. I'm using 1.0.1. My router is setup properly and UPnp is enabled. eMule, Skype, Miranda, uTorrent all create mappings fine. Apex used to create it aswell, but now it doesnt. And I didnt change anything.. what can I do..?

Forward ports manually, set to "Firewall with manual port forwarding". And ensure that the ports used in Apex are free.

yeah, well, that's a possible workaround, but i'd rather just get upnp working, esp. since it works fine for all the other applications..

Sorry to disappoint you, but even if UPnP happens to work for DC, it is an "accident", just luck. One such "accident" happened to me at work today on XP and cable modem + router. Maybe a "bug" we have to look into, but it is likely to be present in DC++ > Strong DC++, so...

you were correct - it seems that upnp doesnt work in dc++ 0.706 for me either. gotta report to them :)
