Older messages re-appear in bot and private meassages

Hi, first of all, great job guys on a great client : )

I have looked though the forums, but cannot find how not to have older messages re-appear in bot or private chats. Even when i close apex and re-open it, and send private message to someone i had sent a message to previously, the older messages re-appear in faded text. Is there any way to prevent this? I have looked at all the options, but cannot find any.

Yeah that setting is kind of hidden. Go into the settings then Advanced --> Experts only --> Change "PM history" to 0. You shouldn't need to restart or anything for it to take affect. Screen included below incase you can't find it.

Weird, I didn't know this was an option, however, my Apex does not keep the history even with that option checked. Is there something else I should check also?

Yes Satan. You also need to tick the box for logging PM's. :)
