The best connection settings for ADSl with (routher/gateway )

I connect to internet trough ADSL gateway (routher).

What are the best settings for apex dc++ client,

(... bind address (routher adress is 192.168.1.1), incoming connection settings, outgoing connection settings, firewall with UPnP,

firewall with manual port forwarding, passive... everything that maters)

P.S. I am a beginer so help, and forgive about possible stupid questions, please!
