Help creating my own Hub

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the DC++ networking and such and I have a bunch of friends that want to share stuff amongst ourselves. I believe ApexDC++ is the correct program and I was wondering how to create a Hub that only friends can join or anyone who asks nicely. Any help is appreciated.
