temp file cannot be seen after format :(

hi everybody,

i formatted my hdd. i had the copy of my temp file. i installed the dc++ then choose the temp folder in which my temp file exist, but when i open the download queue, i cannot see the temp file. how can i fix this problem?

You need to copy over the queue.xml settings too. :)

i am sorry that i use both forums . i did not copy the queue.xml. i mean i did not create a backup of queue.xml. what will happen now? :)

if you don't have you old queue.xml backup then you'd need to do this:

1. find the exact file you were downloading before (same tth)

2. start dling it from start (wait it to dl few megs)

3. then close pwdc++

4. find then new temp file (which was created when you started to dl the file again)

5. copy your old 95% temp file over the new temp file

6. you might need to edit queue xml paths etc. but not sure so just go with 1-5 for now and tell me if it works
