The hub is blocking your client when you are connected to more than 100 hubs at the same time, but maybe you could program Apex to send a smaller number instead.
-
But which ones can?

I really need this feature.
I want to be able to connect to more than 100 hubs at the same time without being kicked by hub bots.

I have an E6550, 4GB, 8500GT, WinXP SP2. I don't think I was doing anything specific, NOD32, Outpost Firewall, Nero DriveSpeed, Emule, uTorrent were running(and maybe other programs too).

It crashes almost daily, especially when connecting to a bunch of hubs, but it also happens while already connected.
I can't restart/reconnect unless i leave it for a while, otherwise it crashes again.

Imagine trying to download 500 files and 100 of them having the same name and different content.........
-
Isn't there a way to make Apex rename that file with a postfix or something?
-
Ok, so let's say I'm searching for some pictures, after the search I get around 200 pictures and I want to download them all. I select all of them and I right-click on download.
Some of these pictures have the same name, but even though they are different, they have different contain, different sizes, ApexDC++ overwrites them. So this means that i'm losing files.
What shall I do?
Please don't tell me to manually create a folder and download files with the same name in different folders because this is a pain in the a## when dealing with a large number of files.
-
How can I stop that?
What about saving that file with some sort of a suffix(postfix)?
-
Thank you for the tip, Zlobomir.
Any idea if the programmer could tell us where does apex store the searchlist or if he would implement such a feature?
-
Hi,
Sometimes I want to save the search results from ApexDC++, but I cannpt find the temp file where Apex stores them.
I want to do this because often I find lots of new leads that I might be interested in, but there are too many to download at the same time or to write their names in a txt document. Also, users tend to change their queue and searching again wouldn't get the same leads as the first time.
Imagine that your search returns 10000 results and you can't download them at that moment, but instead you want at least to keep their name/path(which could give you important information about the file)/user(in order to try to ask him to share again the file that you wanted)/etc.
Any ideeas on how to save the search results(name, type, size, user, path, hub, etc.)?
Regards,
Nick
Ability to connect to more than 100 hubs

You should let the users decide whether to use this feature or not.
Most hubs don't allow the limiter either, but people are using it at their own risk.
