And why not "Open with..." command for the uploads acc. to the file name in Transfer window. It often happens that when a user downloads from me he remembers me of some forgotten stuff on my PC, which I want to open without passing through Win Explorer.

The bot could PM the users givining them an ICQ or other way for registration. Also, upon connect, they could see the contact details of the OPs in MOTD or in the welcome message. Awkward, but a way.

Agreed, but please consider that DeathStalker77 is right for his own. In BG the situation is quite similar already. So this is not only one country. And a leecher can always find a way to be a leecher. The fact that he is discussing, rather than changing his client, makes me think he doesn't want to misuse the option. Also, I think we might lose users if this remains so. And probably user-user traffic is not so important as country-country traffic. I could comment in detail, but advise whether appropriate. :)

Would you be so kind to let me know the parameters of your PC (esp. CPU, RAM, VGA)? PM me if too personal. I'm guessing that it compensates slower CPU with more RAM usage... There simply can't be another reason. And my lucky guess is that your CPU is Celeron 2.0 or similar.

If you still have not solved the problem, you may try the Official Support Hub - techgeeks.geekgalaxy.com:1411. It is placed by default in your Fav Hubs.

If so, and if your IP does not change even after restart, just do these steps: 1. Select "Firewall with manual port forwarding" 2. Type the WAN IP manually in the field left to "Get IP address" button. 3. Type one and the same port number for TCP and UDP (it works fine), just ensure that the port number is not used by some other application. 4. Open the port manually in your firewall (or add the Apex DC++.exe in exeptions, should be similar for all other FWs). 5. Forward this port in the router to the IP of your Apex DC++ PC. This should be somewhere in NAT>>Virtual server or whatever. 6. Use "Check connection" button again. 7. Try to search in several hubs (or be sure it doesn't require registration, if one). 8. Try to get a filelist from passive user.

As for turning off partial file sharing, I also agree, but the option should be "sharing on" by default. @ _-0-_ : What about Peer Guardian? 1. On the second start the program is probably hashing/refreshing your filelist. Have you set an appropriate hashing speed? What are your PC specifications? 2. It really seems not working still. But I'm sure that the team is doing his best to make it work. :thumbsup:
