But there are hubs which force you to emulate. That's why I think of emulation+disable segment downloading. In fact, we just need another option in Fav Hubs, "Disable segment downloading".

If the necessity of newbie-friendliness is the only issue, can't you make a one-time pop-up with (x Don't show again) which explains where and how to enable/disable redirects?

A reason could be that you may be redirected to an inappropriate hub (emulation, share, slots, etc.).

This has nothing to do with TTH. I have the same issues sometimes, it's just jerks trying to earn points by upload or just trying to kill P2P by creating a mess. The second time you downloaded most probably just the title and content matched. Back on topic, the TTH check after downloading is a must of cource. Sorry if I dissapoint smo, but we can't be the smartest guys on the Earth. If such option exists in most of the good P2P client, we need it too. Edit: amp, I suspect you of being able to add these options. If you have time, please send me your mod. Although I'm mostly uploading, it's a shame to have problems with things that can be avoided!

This encription probably can be protected by a master password, like in TrueCrypt. Or if we are real maniacs - two passwords. The first will be fake, giving wrong passwords, the second will be the real. In this way even a bruteforce will be hard. :)

In case you have only one pass or a few passwords for all hubs make a copy of Favorites.xml, open with Notepad and do a Replace of password and nick. Then you could send this copy. :whistling:

I was not complaining about your universe, but about the BM's one. Frankly, I don't have similar issues, but in the way you all describe it and in the way BM refuses to fix this, I will be forced switch my more serious jobs to a more serious client if this happens to me. :D
