  1. Question about the corruption message.

    I guess he is just busy...
  2. Using PG code

    Yeah, and having your own new bugs is cute... BUT IT'S WRONG! Remember the cartoon? In our way we think we have the chance to clean our bugs, until BM clears his, and not end with 2x bugs, as usually happens when reinventing the wheel. @iceman50 - btw I took a quick look at your reinvented client... nice work! Does it work? :thumbsup:
  3. Segmented downloading ruining DC

    Considering that partial file sharing is on, and that a user who has finished faster with more slots taken hopefully will become a sharer, thus compensating for the more slots taken before, I do not see this as major problem. If there are leechers or slow-speed users, it is a limit and nothing can be done... Looking at this as a moment "snapshot" it is a problem, but in terms of the sharing process imho it is ok.
  4. Import settings

    imho it can, and I guess who can do a small converter, so that Crise could work on the base project. :thumbsup:
  5. Small PM issues

    See title.
  6. Linux Project Development

    @Staff - Pls update topic description then. :thumbsup:
  7. Segmented downloading techniques

    Nice. Peace! :)
  8. Segmented downloading techniques

    #172 The technique to "fix the bugs" would be our team traveling worldwide and inspecting/fixing problems in each separate PC with the said problems. I would gladly consider doing this on your expenses. :)
  9. Segmented downloading techniques

    #170 Even if causes are not proven, worse, we can not act on blind. Regarding sockets - with all my respect to coders as knowing more, I do not think sockets have something to mess here, and I doubt also that iceman50 has written this in such context.
  10. Linux Project Development

    Cool, but DumbWin.h sounds better and on Win native American English. Within the project development you may also need WrongWin.h, WhyWin.h, HateWin.h, DamnWin.h, F*Win.h. :P
  11. Small PM issues

    Do not flood. ifmn has sent already. Counter is back on 0, but the best part was the New message window: "You have no new messages". Too bad I did not made a screen shot this time. :)
  12. Segmented downloading techniques

    My answer to your post no. 157 then:
  13. Small PM issues

    Meanwhile it is still on -1, I am curious what will happen if I receive a message.
  14. Segmented downloading techniques

    True, but for killing a man, apart from the moral side, you know damn well you will spend a good part of your own life in jail, if you got caught. And this is smth you know as a part of your whole process of social integration. And this process is far more longer than DC++ experience. Actually, you know what it could be? The killing knife could be http/torrent, while DC++ is the "slicing bread" one. And I am referring to your earliest reply for writing the above, truly believing and protecting my right to think to be right, just as you do. /off And I have to write at least 5 pages analisys between neokeinsian theory (god of economics forgive me the spelling), monetary theory and neoclassical theory. Btw if smo ACCIDENTALLY has such thing ready, do not hesitate to contact me. It will save me a lots of time and therefore help the project. /off
  15. Help needed re transferring ApexDC++ to a new computer

    And this http://forums.apexdc.net/index.php?showtopic=134 is already old I quess and may cause incompatibility probs... What a beautiful reason for a new guide. Volunteers? (looking around innocently )
  16. Linux Project Development

    SmartWin - composite complex word, consisting of two antonyms :)
  17. exception report

    Yes, this is just the usual way, bug reports are posted and fixed ASAP with a new release on the fly, in 90% of the cases there is not much that the user can do. But everything is read carefully, be sure. And I dare to advise nobody to advise users to reinstall just for the sport. :)
  18. Segmented downloading techniques

    But Excelsium, in terms of corrupted files nor even 99% is acceptible. It will be 99% OK with you, 98% with your peers, 95% with their peers... and will end in crap.
  19. Help needed re transferring ApexDC++ to a new computer

    And also certificates directory should be changed accordingly, as well as logs.
  20. April Fools: ApexDC++ 1.0 and PeerWeb DC++ 1.0

    We outsorced this to Firefox and it is ready long tyme ago. Unfortunately FFox is American too.
  21. April Fools: ApexDC++ 1.0 and PeerWeb DC++ 1.0

    I know, just find it a bit funny and like one of those harmless small peculiarities, which make a project cool. Hope you do not take it to heart. I even think that Crise went to fishing near the release date.
  22. have a big problem!

    This looks very familiar to me. @Staff - Pls move to Bug Reports
  23. April Fools: ApexDC++ 1.0 and PeerWeb DC++ 1.0

    Why not, there was an Easter egg (double exe) in the Christmas installer. :wacko:
  24. Linux Project Development
