According to the best of my knowledge, simple "copy-paste" should work, but I still recommended a back-up. 2. When moving Apex between two PCs, most likely shared folders will not be the same on the destination PC. Of course, if you mean copying the share together with Apex, you can simply edit the hash files with Notepad to reflect new paths, but if you are not sure what you do, better rehash. 3. Script is possible solution, but since the process can mess the program too much, isn't it better to leave the power users do it, and the newbie-average ones to make it in the old safe way?

Yes, you could be kicked from some hubs. 1. Close all running instances. 2. Choose the instance to use, say Apex1. Its queue will be Q1, Temp folder will be Temp1. Same for Apex2. 3. Copy all *.dctmp files from Temp2 to Temp1. 4. CAREFUL HERE! Open the two queues - Q1 & Q2. Find by looking the respective section in Q1, then append in the end the whole section from Q2 (hope it makes sense w/o repetitive reading). I do not have Apex atm to explain better. Pls wait for another member to confirm the safety of above steps, or DO A FULL ARCHIVE before begining. Staff: Pls move to Support.

Have you tried one and the same TCP and UDP port for Apex? Have you tried high (over 10000-20000) and low values for ports? Neighbour ports? Firewall? Win XP firewall can be nasty.

Now I really think Yoshi, or Nev, or both, have done smth to you. Yn just works great for me and my quite old server configuration. Hub is build with decent amount of time and patience. I would try another soft, but only if Yn refuse ADC support or when I have enough time.

OK, I downloaded and looked at CZDC++ 0.666(M). In it, there is not a connection setting per each favorite hub. And settings in Fav Hub section always override general settings Check this one, and restart Apex between attempts, just in case.

Hubs may upgrade forever, but TCD will be upgraded or crashed in a breeze. :)

Static/dynamic IP has nothing to do with port forwarding and depends on ISP. Static IP - your IP is one and the same all the time. Dynamic IP - your IP changes on each reconnect to the web (f. ex. each PC restart). Here you need to check "update on startup". Virtual IP - many users behind one and the same external IP address. In this case user's LAN addresses are typically 192.168.* or 10.* . Edit: For this, use "Passive - worst case".

Not necessary, maybe Yoshi and Nev f. ex. have waited exactly this one, while working on it in the meantime.

TLS e порт, използван при криптирана връзка с АDC хъбове. Поради още незавършеният вид на протокола не се ползва широко, сам забелязваш, че го няма в много клиенти. Повече информация за цялостното използване има на http://forums.apexdc.net/index.php?showtopic=911 , за жалост на английски. Ако ползвах TLS активно, бих могъл да обясня и на български, но не е така.

If fact it depends on the people\community. If all share after download, there is no real difference who is the first downloader. If you consider people nasty by default, there is nothing to do to improve things either.

AFAIK this separation is (?was?) just a project and not available atm. It was discussed mainly in the context of Linux\Unix compatibility, if I remember correctly.
