    You know I know the answer to this...Problem is I cannot think of the words to use to give you an answer. I'm gonna try but work with me.

    When you click on a dchub:// link for the first time whatever browser you are using will ask if you want to handle that link the same way from now on. If infact you check mark yes and are running a client for some reason windows cannot see that the program is already open therefore it tries to start a new instance of the program to compinsate as windows sees and thinks this is what is needed to use that link. Sadly the only way I have found to fix this is totally default your browser back to its installed format. If that doesnt work you will have to uninstall your browser and delete the folder and anything left over the browser uninstaller does not remove.

    If this is unclear I can try to think of another way to put it or maybe someone that does understand this can make it a bit more clearer or user friendly

    If you will think in this way emulate a dc++ tag is faking too :D

    It can't be faking as the clients original source is based off of .699. I really don't understand why this conversation is still going on as its not gonna happen nor should it.

    TTH is checked during transfer, so it's impossible to download corrupted file. But if file is really corrupted then:

    a) source file was corrupted too and you just downloaded this corrupted file

    :D you have bug in your PC and file got corrupted after downloading and sending it to OS

    I second BigMuscles statement and totally agree.

    Side note: Sometimes some of us like to investigate other clients and load our Queue from the old client into the one we are playing with. Not sure if this is your case but thought I would state that this can also cause the same issues.

    That messaged was followed by a pm telling you the reason you were banned. Most likely the time that has expired since you have posted that your able to get back in. Unless there is any other questions then I guess the awaited time solved the problem.

    If you are using a router and trying to use direct connection its telling you this because you must forward ports in the router and in the client using. Please give us a big more info about your setup so we can correctly help you resolve this matter.

    Nah, it's VerliHub 0.9.8d_RC1.

    And, Mikey, I'm only using ApexDC++ to download from other users in VPN Network, I don't use other hubs... if that's what you were talking about...

    Sorry about not explaining this clearly, I'm still new in VPN and DC++ concept and english is not my first language...

    If all the file sharing and transfer is being done behind a router on a LAN then I believe you should use your internal I.P address or correct me if I am wrong guys but wouldnt this be where the bind address comes into play?? More help is needed as I am not all that experienced in VPN networking.

    I changed my avatar and when I changed it.. the new one showed in my control panel. When browsing the forum and seeing my other post it was my old avatar still showing but different sizing..If there is something I am doing wrong please let me know if not consider this a minor bug.. ;) Below is a link to my avatar I changed to so you can see exactly what I mean

    the hub you seem to be connecting seems to be ynhub (not 100% sure) you can get a userlevel that does not check the ip sent so you wont be kicked but searching might not work...

    As Aztek said this is gonna be the best way to do it. You cant set the client up to download on the LAN side and WAN at the same time. It's only gonna happen if you use 2 clients. But if you do Azteks suggestion above given you are using Ynhub then you will be able to do it without such issue.

    Note: Forgive me if I am going down the wrong path..the question is not the easiest to understand ;)

    I know you want to use this for a legit reason but considering many would abuse this. I doubt this would be implemented.

    As it would make ApDC a fake client in some people's eyes.

    I agree with you on both aspects..but this is the thing. If a hub owner doesn't allow a certain client such as Apex then they have that right. Now if the hub owner doesn't allow a certain tag like 0.699 then that hub owner needs to get with the times. DC and its clients are constantly evolving and the numbers will rise. If a hub owner expects to have a hub left in a few months maybe now is the time for them to recognize that not everyone on DC is gonna break down and use one single client just so they can get in one single hub. Maybe I would try talking to the hub owner about it. Adding this feature would just be abused and be another mod and this is the total problem in the DC community. To many hacked rip offs and not enough real clients.

    Here is an idea..obviously no one here knows so why not send Crise a private message and see if he will tell you...No need getting worked up..I can review the source when I have time but right now I have development of my own to deal with..So pm Crise he doesn't bite. If he wants to show you then thats on him.

    Thats kind of a good idea...but I don't think it would happen. But if it did I would be willing to take some of TGO load as my network supports the client in anyway possible.

    I can vouch for Nocits problem.. My server that has only been up 5 days since reboot is saying its been up 17 weeks. I have a dozen other people who are having the same issue. Noctis problem with it is not just related to him it is in fact a small bug somewhere but does not affect the program it only shows incorrect information. It is something that needs fixed but I see it causing no harm to the core of Apex at all. Crise please look into this as it is a verfied issue but not one that must be corrected immediately.

    It's no issue for you Mirage as they should be reported by TAN staff..If you do find bugs however please do report them directly to me. That goes for anyone willing to participate in not only TGo but any TAN hub the members of Apex are involved in. If you find a bug you can either contact me via hub or send me a private message via these forums and I will respond promptly to let you know I have received it.

    I would like adlsearch items to be nubered or some id and and a raw command that would list what adlsearch item was used in the kick.

    Why not just use the comment system in Apex or maybe a number label in your adl or raws?

    Ok let me tell everyone something. Does anyone on this damn forum know the meaning of the word beta?

    Its not bad bot setting its not bad anything..It a beta style scanner which is meaning there is bound and determine to be bugs. This is the Apex forum not the TAN Hub Dev forum. I am the TAN Hub Dev and have asked everyone in TAN a million of times to submit bug reports to me. It has nothing to do with whats good and whats bad and I damn sure am not gonna set on an outside forum and watch you all go on about the damn scanners as I have told everyone a million times to submit the damn bug reports to me to be fixed..If you dont submit them to me then its not a bug till it does. So if you wanna sit around and say its bad bot settings and not do it properly as I asked then you can take the bad bot settings fix it your damn self and then you all can do development..You all know so damn much yet I see none of you spending to the time to do what Crise Sidey, Myself and others do...So before you go spamming the board try following directions.

    This thread was designed to be the outside area of TGO not a place for TAN Network Members to talk about someones development and make us look bad to the outside world. We have a forum for that..I think maybe some of you should reread TAN's bylaws as disrespect is more then just bashing someone for no givin reason. I speak for not only myself but Crise and the others as stated before "If you dont want bugs then don't use a beta software" its as simple as that. Now from this point I see another post related to TAN proper and not Apex through this thread talking about any work the developers have done to TGO and you can start doing it yourself. I don't have the time to read these aggrevating post and neither should the people of ApexDC.

    Well simple you were using the <<removed>> version...This isnt the forum for that client nor will it ever be supported here. I suggest downloading the real Apex client and make DC a better place by not using fake clients and hacked mods that clutter up hubs... :lol: Moderators please close this thread as this forum isnt for this purpose.
