    My point of view is that if a person has such files, either misnamed or real, he is sick. Why otherwise a normal man would download a file with such name?). And I do not like having sick people in hub. However sometimes it is really hard to decide, if it is a single *NastyName*.jpg in a folder with 100-200 or more pics. It looks like a chain mistake when user accidentally downloads from a sick person. But everyone is resposible to maintain a clean share.

    P. S. I just thought of a feature request, stay tuned. It will be very easy imo. :D

    Edit: Erm, we have it... please let's test, if we put in Settings>Advanced>Share Skiplist patterns similar to ADLS content (f. ex. "*preteen porn*.*;*sick porn*.*"), will we be able to share such forbidden files. Pls guide me whether the example pattern should be improved in some way. If not able, which I guess will be the case, Apex may come by default with suck a list entered, like the TGO hub in Favs. I believe no one will object, even the sick persons will save some nerves if not being kicked.

    Uh man. I like Your posts. And You are helping me from the start. But it seems that You dont understand me... or I dont understand You... For example: Every OP kicks because of the filename - not because of the real file contents (considernig sick porn). If the filename changes and the file dont contain sick porn - there is no reason to kick that person. You ofcourse know that when You change file name file still has same TTH !!! Thats why you can add a files TTH into ADL search and after that kick other guy which have for example some erotic picture or movie with the same TTH. There is no reason to kick a guy for sick porn if he have blondegirlnude.jpg in a share and the picture is normal xxx. The problem is that at the other guys share this very same picture with same TTH was named *NastyName*.jpg. And it is not the TTH which decides if the file is wrong but simply his filename...

    Uh about that feature you are suggesting... Wont we help sick people to hide their download files and maybe they could download something that will not trigger pattern which is listed and share that sick stuff with others? And then the other guy could do the same sharing not triggered file with others? Uhhhh I dont know. Maybe more comments should help...

    Thank You Very Much For Your Posting. I am not shure about save. I could think of the solution and make graphic for that. I dont care about the time. Just want to help developers to build better client... For example I kick in one hub for clients like Strong, Zion, Zk and other two which I wont mention (thats the way owner wants) And I enter into that box st|z|pw|ap and TAG in listing. That way I get all users which have that clients and I can easily kick them all at once. If I could have that one saved - I would do my job much better and faster...

    1 - Maybe it'll be added, I don't know :D

    2 - Apex is a mod of SDC, and SDC doesn't want to add lua, so it's up to Crise to do it.I think he said no about this (I aint sure and i don't want to talk from anyone's name...)

    HM.... yes i know... the coders have hardest time of all the others... I was thinking that .lua maybe could help to improve client without lowering stability of a client. Much more things can be done by using scripts. I know there are many different demands and it is hard to please everybody, but with scripts everybody can inplement stuff which they like not to ask things to be done in main coding... Well at least REG EXP are the hell of the option. I think that is not so hard to be done and there will be much which client can do in ADL search... thanks for Your answer... (BTW I would like to be a tester - how can I became one?)

    Hmmmm Like I said when it consider kicking sick porn from hubs TTH can lead you to a mistake. For example 98% of files are not a sick porn but have that key words in filename to attrack sick people which are easy with the money for that stuff (not in dc++ world but on xxx sites). Considering song duplicates it is tottaly OK. Or movies and things like that. But I am talking about ADLS. In that client which I tested (sorry - no names) there is an option for TTH only. It would be really nice if in Apex should exist function to add files from regular search into ADLSearch but with filename not TTH... Also REGEXP in ADLSearch would be great option.

    Well I wish I could help more. It took me some time to edit those buttons in some screen capturing program to look really nice and to show how that could look in "real life" :D heh. I am not a coder. I know to use autoit a bit and really basic things in LUA scripting. I want to learn REG EXP and thats it. I work very hard as an OP and I think I am in top shelf. I am moustly in "house" hubs and requirements for doing job arround the HUB are different. On some hubs they hate clients the most. On some every client is allowed but they hate porn and sick porn the most. Somewhere it is RnB, Hip Hop, Rock music while scripting bot kick for sick porn and installed programs. So... Different searches for different hubs... It would be nice if there are buttons with search presets for every hub... It would make things much easier. Not just for OPs but for every other user which search for stuff every day ;) I like this client. Just want to help developments to make it better. I have few clients which have nice features but they are either not stable, or dont have nice options... I like many things in Apex and I will list them in a separate topic few days from now...

    Thanks For Your Answer man... Well It would be too confusing and a terrible great work for bouth sides to achieve whole separate settings for every single hub. But I think that some features could be done separate. In this post i wanted to recommend a few things which would be:

    1) Support For REGULAR EXPRESSIONS (when you learn them you cant live without them)

    2) LUA scripting support - a great great future which opens a clients door widely to new opportunities

    3) Auto Search - Nice to check many users without anoying list download

    4) Country Code Check - Nice feature

    5) ISP Checker - Also nice feature

    But 1-3 should be MAJOR improvements and i know they depend on lot of work.

    Hope that wont affect stability of a client... (if it will be inplemented)

    Lua scripting should make a client much better and not interferent with stability i guess. It would be cool that apex have buttons in main chat window of a hub like this:

    CLEAR - Clear the chat

    LOG - to show you Log file opened with notepad

    LUA - to enable LUA scripting only for this HUB

    Search Preset 1 - This should have a different name (editable one in hub favorites for each hub) and search code to be searched only for that hub. Idea is that this look like RAW commands different for every hub. The Name should be editable and called "preteen" "incest".... or some other often search

    Search Preset 2 - Same as 1 :blink:

    I have found this feature which allows to add a file from a search menu into ADLSearch but only as TTH. I think that this is not good idea because most of "sick porn" files we kick because of their title - not content. That way someone can change a file name and it will stil have same TTH with nothing wrong in filename and nothing wrong in video or picture file. It would be nice just an option which adds file name to adl search as forbidden or something.

    It would be nice If there is an option to save used strings in user list filter. I use it most of the time to filter clients by tag

    and to kick those which are forbidden. A nice box which will save last 5 filters for every hub should be great option.

    I know that many people which havent used that maybe dont find this good, but It is a nice feature. Also if you want to select

    a group of people by any other thing: tag, prefix, sharesize, hubs, slots, ip...

    Hm... It would be nice if there is an option to add a hub even if it is in favorites. But with different name. I often need to check if some command is visible for different level of users and i cant do that while i look it from an OP or ADMIN position... so.... it might ask you to add a hub to favorites even if it is there but with different nick and password.... that way hub could be really tested. This would be nice to OPs which really like to improve things in hubs they opping...
